With a decades-spanning career and a vast, impressive catalog that blends different styles, genres, and even band members at times, Newsboys is a name within the Christian music space that can't be ignored. Since the beginning of their careers, Newsboys have propelled countless hits up the charts, explored the universe of books and film, and traveled millions of miles to bring their live show to as many corners of the world as possible; all while in constant pursuit of reinvention and inspiration in the midst of following their calling.
Hits like "We Believe," "Magnetic," "Born Again," and the Platinum-Certified mega hit "God's Not Dead," which gave birth to a film franchise of the same name, have defined the group's career. The Newsboys have sold more than 10 million albums across 24 studio recordings, and the group has no intention of slowing down. In addition, they've amassed one RIAA Double Platinum® and eight RIAA Gold® certifications, 33 #1 radio hits, four GRAMMY® nominations, two American Music Award® nods, and multiple Gospel Music Association Dove® awards.
One thing is clear about the Newsboys: their mission has remained the same for the last thirty years, and it's not changing anytime soon. Over the years, the messenger may have changed, but the MESSAGE hasn't. Amid a world rattled by political tension, war, hunger, and mental health struggles, Duncan, Jeff, Jody, and Adam are here to proclaim their faith and the God they serve. "We're here to be conduits of something special, and to share what we believe with whoever will listen."
I Want To Love...| Posted July 10, 2010
I have been a HUGE fan of Newsboys and I was really sad when Peter Furler left the band, but I was excited to hear the new stuff that would be coming from the talented singer that is Michael Tait. I wanted to like it, I really did but I think they've lost something very valuable. The reason I liked them was their originality and their honesty. Now they sound like every other Christian band out there and need to update their sound to something that will stand out! I know you guys can do it!

A Good Band| Posted July 09, 2010
The Newsboys have never released an album that has left me amazed but always seem to at least impress me with consistently very good, if not outstanding, music. I guess that's about all one can ask for from a band and thus The Newsboys rightfully earn their place among the greats in the CCM industry.

Thank you for all you do| Posted July 07, 2010
I have been a fan of the band for years. Changing members of a band, especially a lead singer is always interesting to see how people will respond. I just wanted to say I am still a huge fan and really enjoying the new album. Thanks for all you do to encourage others.

The Newsboys are a truly incredible Christian band. Through all of their member changes and the recent change from Peter Furler to Michael Tait as lead singer, they still continue to sing about Jesus and challenge us to be Not Ashamed. I admit that when I went to see the Newsboys on the Winter Jam tour with Tait as the lead singer, I had my doubts on how enjoyable it would be because I was a big Furler fan. They performed over and above my expectations. Tait added his own style and even brought a DCTalk flare to the music. I highly recommend this band to anyone who can appreciate truly great lyrics. From songs like Shine, Not Ashamed, Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, Woohoo, and Take Me To Your Leader to Born Again, and Light Up, and even performances of Jesus Freak this band is very unique and has in no way left with Furler. Tait is bringing the 'boys back!
