This new year has already brought some incredible new worship albums and songs. I have had the privilege of worshiping along with dozens of new worship albums this past year, and as we start 2026, this has been the best selection of new worship songs to choose from in recent memory to "sing to the Lord a new song," as said in Psalm 96:1, with amazing offerings from all of these artists.
As a believer, one of my daily devotions is to spend time worshiping my Lord and Savior, Jesus, by singing worship songs in adoration of His majesty and love. I've arranged these selections like a worship setlist. You can add all these songs to your worship set at church. God bless.
Josh Baldwin - “Salvation Song”
This song inspires us to see ourselves the way God sees us. It conveys a powerful message of redemption: grace is an unearned favor and a gift. Remember that "while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Let go of doubts about yourself and be confident: "For God so loved the world/He sent His Son to die/For all who will believe in Him/Will find eternal life.”
Matt Crocker - “Love Me As I Am”
This song carries an important message: there is always hope. Breathe it in like oxygen, and God will turn whatever you're going through into something different for His glory. I hope you feel the same joy and hope in Christ that this song expresses. Remember these truths: “You love me as I am/I can see it in Your scars/In Your eyes Lord I’m enough/like a living work of art.” Gratefully accept God’s love, something you freely receive when you accept Him as your Savior. This song puts into words gratitude and serves as a reminder to sing to God: “You love me as I am/I can see it in Your scars/I know that I’m enough/'cause I bear the Maker's mark.”
Passion Music - “The Blood”
These anointed worship leaders in the Passion collective consistently impress me with their mature faith and sincere desire to serve Jesus. The truly unstoppable love of Jesus is beautifully expressed in this compelling song, “The Blood.” The Lord calls us to find joy in Him regardless of our circumstances, which this song celebrates. "The Blood" is about proclaiming God's majesty and crying out in awe and wonder for His presence. This song is completely anointed, Spirit-led, and emotionally captivating.
Pat Barrett - “I've Got a Fire”
This song really puts me in the right mindset to praise God for loving me so much that He gave His life for all that was lost. I enjoy the energetic musical vibe of this song; the melody is catchy, and the lyrics are prayerful, reflecting unashamed faith in Jesus. It is a passionate worship song sung with sincerity and reverence, featuring biblically inspired lyrics.
Phil Wickham - “The Day I Met You”
This song is about submitting to the Lordship of Jesus and declaring that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved except Jesus Christ, our God. It expresses a sincere desire for God's presence and for His kingdom to come on earth. The song features declarations about Jesus and focuses on discovering our identity in Him. He is the answer.
Seph Schleuter and Matt Maher - “Cling to the Cross”
This song puts me in the right mindset to praise God for loving me so much that He gave His life for all that was lost.
