After releasing their first album as Newsboys United in May, the supergroup will be appearing on FOX & Friends later this month for FOX's annual "All American Summer Concert Series."
The band, which sees the current Newsboys lineup reunite with founding members Peter Furler and Phil Joel, will be preforming August 16th at the news station's headquarters located at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in New York City at 8:00 AM EST. The performance is a free event, and Famous Dave's will be catering lunch for attendees.
Following their FOX and Friends appearance, Newsboys United will return to the road this fall for the "Greatness Of Our God" Tour. Once again bringing together former members Peter Furler and Phil Joel with Newsboys' Michael Tait, Duncan Phillips, Jeff Frankenstein and Jody Davis, the autumn outing is bound for more than 30 cities nationwide and will feature GRAMMY®-nominated Gotee recording artist Ryan Stevenson, along with acclaimed singer/songwriter Adam Agee and a special guest appearance by former dcTalk member and singer/songwriter Kevin Max.
Showcasing the historic six-member lineup, Newsboys' latest release,
United, bowed in May from FairTrade Services and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. A 10-song collection of compelling praise & worship moments and powerful pop tracks, United was produced by Peter Furler and Geoff Duncan.
