Jon Foreman, a singer and songwriter native of San Diego, California, is best known as the frontman of the band Switchfoot, which he started in 1996 with Chad Butler and his brother Tim Foreman. However, with his current solo endeavors, he is proving to be a musical force to be reckoned with.
Jon first returned to his indie-scene roots by releasing four solo EPs in 2007-2008. These EPs, titled Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, featured some of Jon's most personal songs to date with innovative arrangements and inspired and intimate production.
In 2015, he released his latest solo endeavor: four EPs under the name The Wonderlands. They are titled Sunlight, Shadows, Darkness, and Dawn. Altogether, they contain 24 songs -- one for each hour of the day.

Jon Foreman has a completely different sound than he does with Switchfoot in his solo seasonal ep's. They are wonderful in every way. The lyrics and music blend together in such a beautiful, sometimes somber, fabric. His faith is presented honestly, pitfalls and all. If you are a fan of acoustic music at all, these albums should definitely be added to your cd case.

Jon Foreman brings lyrics that speak straight to your soul, and mixes them with great sounding music. I'm not a big fan of acoustic music, but I still found this to be one of my favorite things to listen to.
