Great Album!!!!! | Posted October-28-2008
RSB delivers another great album of faith based songs. Alot of these songs are Praise and Worship songs that could be sung in Church(which RSB does in their home church). The songs are pop praise with a little rock flavor. Would highly recommend checking out this CD.

Great New Artist!! | Posted October-28-2008
From the opening track of Salvation Station I knew that Newworldson had something different and special to make it stand out. There music doesnt really sound like anyone else that I can think of. It is praise and worship with some rock, blues, jazz, southern gospel, reggae and a few other types of music infused throughout the sound. I like the song "Salvation Station" "Working Man" and "Gimme." I expect really great things from them and this album is worth the listen for all fans of great music especially those willing to try something new.

Great New Album for Matthew West!! | Posted October-28-2008
This is the third album for contemporary christian singer West. He just keeps putting out great albums that everyone can really relate to. He continues his great music with this album which was put out after some struggles that he had to go through with a surgery. But his voice is still great and he mixes some pop with a little rock music. I really like the Title song it is just so great. Also Toby Mac from Dc talk makes an appearence on the album. You can also access some bonus materials of acoustic performances and videos with the purchase of the CD and going to a special website only available if you have the CD.

Farris Shines on "Salvation in Lights" | Posted October-28-2008
I was not familiar with his previous work as the frontman of the Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies but after hearing of his Salvation story and of his musical experience I thought He would be someone to check out. I am so glad I did this is such a great album with very powerful and soulful vocals. It has its own unique sound that doesnt really sound like anyone else out there today. It is great for all ages with a souful, gospel, rock, R&b, and blues sound. I love his cover of Sam Cooke's "Change is Gonna Come" and his version of the hymn "Precious Lord Take My Hand." Again a great album that reaches both the young and the old.

Opposite Way is the Right Way for Leeland | Posted October-28-2008
After hearing Leelands debut album I knew they were destined for great things and they continue that here on their sophomore album. While not as praise and worship friendly as their debut it is a step in the right direction for this young and very mature group. Leeland has been compared to such acts as coldplay and other melodic-driven groups. The songwriting on this album is top notch and the lyrics are very powerful. I would recommend this album to everyone especially fans of the above mentioned melodic-rock music but even if not this is a group worth checking out. I really like the songs "Opposite Way" "Brighter Days" and "Enter the Temple"

Another Dekker Authored Masterpiece!!!! | Posted October-28-2008
Ted Dekker does it again with the novel "Adam." I don't think that Ted Dekker can write a bad book. The main story is the search of a Serial killer who has killed 16 women. Daniel Clark a FBI investegator has spent years searching for the serial killer called Eve. When Daniel Clark gets to close to Eve a near death experience occurs for Daniel and draws him even further into the mind of the serial killer. What happens next is a whirlwind page turning ride that will make you see the real light of God. A very powerful and intense story that keeps you wanting more. I love the way the book switches between the story and magazine articles. Im not sure if this ties into the rest of Teds book or stand alone but who know with the mind of Dekker.

Choose Chosen | Posted October-28-2008
Ted Dekker continues to amaze me with all the great works he puts out and how he intertwines the stories. Im still not sure how he will tie them all together in the end. This book is aimed at the YA but is for everyone. It deals with an alternate world where four teens are chosen to become part of the Forest Guard who is at war with the Horde(the desert dwellers). Johnis the main character is unsure of himself and why he was chosen but decides to follow his heart instead of his head. A really great book which also ties into Dekkers Circle trilogy, Showdown, and Skin. I would really recommend checking out this series as well as Dekkers other books. I cant wait to read the rest of this series.

Bug Man Returns! | Posted October-28-2008
This is a really great series and the Bug MAn NIck Polchak is a really great and eccentric character. THe Bug Man is a forenscic entomoligist who studies bugs on dead people to see when exactly the died. He is called in to help clean up bodies after Hurricane Katrina. He start noticing that some of the dead bodies are further along in the decomposition stage then they should be after the hurricane and thinks that they died before the hurricane. A great book very exciting read. I would highle recommend to fans of C.S.I. Also check out the first 2 books in the seriesSHoo Fly Pie and Chop Shop.

Liparulo continues to release suspense filled novel that grab your attention and wont let go. When I found out he had a new novel I had to read it. This book deals with four friends take a remote wilderness expedition. They come across a group who have taken a remote town hostage and plan on destroying the town and its people with a new weapon. The friends must lead an attack to release the towns inhabitants from this group. Liparulo does a great job bringing the characters to life. A must read for all suspense fans.
