This is the first book of Creston Mapes that I have read and it is so awesome. I will definetly have to check out his others. This book starts off with a reporter who responds to a call and when he gets their he finds a dead homeless man. While waiting for the police he decided to look in the mans pockets to see if he can find anything for a story. Wh at he comes across is a bank book with a balance over $600,000 dollars and a key for a safe deposit box. With no other info the reporter starts on a journey to find out who this man was and why he was killed. I couldnt put the book down and just had to keep reading. A very well written book with characters you can relate to.

Great Writer/Great Book | Posted October-28-2008
This is the second book of Creston Mapes that I have read the first being "Nobody" and he is such a great writer. This book is so realistic and reads like it could be a real story. The book is about Everett Lester the lead singer of Deathstroke a rock band. He is up for First Degree Murder for killing his Psychic Endora Crystal. The book skips back and forth from the present where he is on trial to the past telling his life story and his struggles. Everett lives the rock life doing drugs, booze, and everything that comes with it. Their is one person who keeps reaching out to him during his life and this is Karen Bayliss a Christian girl who belives God laid it on her heart to pray for Everett. This book deals with the struggles of a man searching for the right answer. It is such a great book and very well written. I cant wait to read the second book in this series "Full Tilt."

Grant at Her Best | Posted October-28-2008
This is the type of music that Grant should be singing all the time. This music really lets her vocals shine and show what she is capable of doing. This had to be one of the best albums released in 2005. It is a nice mix of pop songs with a little leaning more to the rock side of music. Standout songs are "Something Beautiful" "What Are You waiting For" "The Real Me" and "Held." A must have CD for all fans of conemporary Christian music or just great music in general.

A real "Conversation" Piece | Posted October-28-2008
This has to be one of the best albums ever released. It has everything from great lyrics, great vocals, and great music. Sara groves has such a wonderful voice that is powerful when singing this type of contemporay music. It has a nice blend of uptempo and slower songs that all seem to flow together. The songs are very inspirational and Christ cenetered. A must have album for everyone. Lots of Standout songs such as "Conversations" "WOrd" "Painting Pictures of Egypt" "How It IS Between Us" and "Know MY Heart"

This isnt as great as her Conversations album but is still a good listen. Has some very powerful lyrics and again Sara has such a wonderful voice. I really like the song "Everday Miracles off of this album.

Sara Groves just keeps putting out great albums with great music. Very inspiring lyrics with great music and vocals. I really like the title track and the song "You Cannot Lose My Love." A must for all Sara Groves fans or just fans of great music.

This is such a great album and is a must for all fans of great music. I love all the songs on this album which is hard to find these days with all of the albums released. He has alot of very well written lyrics and the music is great. Ver uplifting and worshipful in a sense. They all make you think about your walk with God. Again all of the tracks are great but I do like "Welcome Home" "Damage Done" and "Move Me"

This album is just as good if not better than his debut. Again great songs with great lyrics. I really like the songs "twilight" and "Jesus." Again a must have for fans of great music. Very honest well written lyrics that really make you think.

I dont like this as much as his first two albums but again those are hard to top. The music was lacking something for me. This album has great lyrics though that really make you think. I like the songs "Whats wrong with this World" and "SAd SOng."

Another Great Book by Gansky | Posted October-28-2008
Alton Gansky has to be one of the top writers around today. He writes every kind of fiction genre and also does non fiction work as well. This book would be classified as a science fiction type book but really it is more than that. The book starts off with a women(Priscilla) who is recording her last will and testament while in hiding. She then begins to tell her storyand how she got to where she is. An earthquake takes place in California and a stranger(Aster) comes after the quake. The stranger an eight foot all being from a spacecraft claims to bring peace and healing to all nations. He wants Priscilla to help him speak to world leaders and to be his voice for the public. Priscilla begins to have questions about what Aster is teaching and questions his teachings. The book shows how everyone is quick to believe people and to think they are doing good things for everyone. People are quick to follow new teachings without checking to see if they are the truth. I though the ending went a little too fast but then again the whole book never really had any slow spots. A great book I would highly recommend this book.
