From Water to War by Nine Lashes From Water to War by Nine Lashes
From Water to War does a great job in bucking the sophomore slump and delivering a sound that is similar yet different.  While the band's debut sounded like any other hard rock album, this one...

Another amazing Tooth and Nail debut | Posted August-19-2008
Ivoryline, Children 18:3, and Search the City have put out amazing debut albums on the Tooth and Nail label and this debut album by Capital Lights is no exception. Through 45 minutes the album doesn't let up with it's party rock feel and the way the songs are put together and their sound reminded me a lot of Fall Out Boy. This album is a perfect summer CD for rock fans everywhere.

Lives Up to It's Title | Posted July-12-2008
The last book in this series is truly chaotic. The whole book takes place on this Earth in the year 2033 (before Sinner) where the quest for the seven books comes to a classic conclusion. Ted really shows his famous plot twist element at the end of this book that is both surprising yet makes sense when you think about it after you finish the book. Some questions are also answered in this book but leaves the door wide open for the remaining books left in the entire Circle series.

An interesting look at good and evil in our time | Posted July-02-2008
Ted Dekker always has a knack for good storytelling and this book is no exception. Before the first chapter begins he starts the book with the 1st part of a series that looks over the life of someone named Alex Price. The remaining 8 parts are spread strategically throughout the novel so as to provide back story and motives into what is going on during the real story. The real story is about the FBI trailing a serial killer (again!) named Eve. Eve kills young women when there is a new moon in the sky. Daniel Clark is working in tracking Eve down and gets killed by Eve only to be brought back to life by his partner 20 minutes later. As the story progresses weird things start to happen to Daniel and by the end of the novel these weird things build up to one of the most realistic and genuinely terrifying confrontations between good and evil that Ted has ever written. I highly enjoyed this book and I believe other people will enjoy it too.

(Also, this book is not connected in any way to the Books of History series.)

Really Good | Posted July-02-2008
This album is a fun filled set with some good songs and some... different songs that sound good. Most of the album sounds like classic Stellar Kart until a song called Eyes. It's kind of a mix of Stellar Kart rock and Van Halen's Jump. All in all: It's a great album that I find enjoyable.

A great punk rock addition | Posted June-24-2008
I fell in love with this band when I heard We've Only Just Begun from their debut album. Now when I bought this album I was expecting more of the same sounding stuff and they did not disappoint. Love At the Core has more of the same sound that you all know and love from their debut album. This album is mostly one big headbanger. Skip the last song and you still get over 30 minutes of quality Run Kid Run for 2008.

I Love This CD | Posted June-24-2008
After falling in love with Rebirthing and Whispers in the Dark I finally went out and bought this CD. I bought the Deluxe Edition but I would rather review the actual album than the 5 acoustic songs that come as an extra. This album rocks all the way through it's 11 tracks. Each track has something special. If you only have the regular edition of this album than you are missing out on an amazing bonus song that is included on the Deluxe Edition. It's called Live Free Or Let Me Die and I recommend that you buy it off iTunes (if they allow you to buy that song seperate) or if that doesn't work, find someone who has the Deluxe Edition and get that song. It's a great rock song that should have been included on the album. All in all, Comatose is one of the best hard rock albums I have heard in my life.

i don't see why Jesus Freak Hideout hates this band. | Posted June-24-2008
As a Kutless fan I really enjoyed this album. It is much heavier than Hearts of the Innocent. Even some of the ballads on this album have a heavier feel to them. Another great album from, in my opinion, a great band.

B eauty in the Broken Part 2 | Posted June-13-2008
It's nice to hear the great guitars from Beauty in the Broken here on the new album. From start to finish this album keeps it's pace going strong as the songs get more meaningful. Also "From the Corners of the Earth" is probably the next "My Generation."

Interesting | Posted June-13-2008
This album caught my attention when I was at the YC conference in Alberta this May. Leeland played a couple of songs that I thought were amazing. I get home and find their new album Opposite Way in the public library so I hastily take it out. This album is suprisingly good. It's got a great mix of fun upbeat songs and slow worship songs. For fans of unordinary worship music Leeland will defiantly satisfy you for approximatly 41 minutes.

A total trip!!! | Posted June-04-2008
Book 3 in the Lost Books Series finally connects everything we have read together. A mix of the action from Chosen and the emotional intensity of Infidel really shines in Renegade. Seeing all the characters from Paridise really makes this novel better than the rest. The story flips between the Circle world and the real world and the conclusion is probably one of the most emotional, action-packed cliffhanger conclusions I have read so far. If this book was amazing than Chaos will be above and beyond. I hope.
