Amazing | Posted June-04-2008
Infidel Book 2 in the Lost Books Series continues on the epic scale that was left off at the end of Chosen but tones down the action and makes this part more emotional for Johnis. An added bonus is that you will read about an event that was talked about in Red that now actually happens in real time. Everything that sets this event up makes it one amazing ride. Next up... Renegade.

This book delivers | Posted June-04-2008
Although it is marketed to the Young Adult crowd the 1st book in the 4 book Lost Books (wow that's a lot of books) Series can be enjoyed by anyone. Ted's writing style is there and it also works plot wise. Speaking of plot if you are enjoying the Books of History Saga than this series will answer a few unanswered questions and will connect the Circle Trilogy and the Project Showdown Trilogy together. Chosen provides an epic start to a truly promising epic series.

One Word... EPIC!!!! | Posted June-02-2008
This CD is one of the most epic CD's I have heard EVER! The sweet guitars mixed in with great string arrangements make this one of the debuts that avid music fans cannot miss. Based on this album the band Red will go on to have a stellar career and hopefully the next album will be just as great if not better than this one.

A Rockin' good time | Posted June-02-2008
Pillar knows how to get you hooked. From the first riff of the title track till the end your head is banging away. A sweet team up with KJ-52 results in one of the best songs on the album. For avid Pillar fans this CD is a must-have.

A Good Debut | Posted May-26-2008
I did not know that Rob Beckley could rap. Now that that is out of the way onto the review. Pillar's debut album is a weird mix of worship, rap, and nu-metal but in a good way. Both this album and TFK's Set It Off album came out in the same year and I feel that that kind of rap/nu-metal style was the in thing at the time. Anyway, it's a great album for anyone fan who wants to listen to how Pillar got into the Christian music scene.

A Really Good Debut | Posted May-26-2008
Even though Falling Up's debut album is not up to par from their later releases, this debut has a fun, light-hearted nu-metal sound with catchy lyrics and beats. In just under 40 minutes you will become familiar with any of the old school Falling Up songs from this album.

Just One Word... AWESOME!!! | Posted May-26-2008
Demon Hunter hits this one out of the park on this album. The songs on this album have their own unique message sprinkled in throughout the screams. These guys seem to release hit album after hit album and not run out of steam. In the future we might see a Demon Hunter vs. Underoath battle for Solid State Record supremacy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!! | Posted April-10-2008
2008 seems to be the year of the indie bands and it continues with brand new Tooth and Nail indie band Search the City's debut album. All 10 songs have their own unique quality and charm that make this album a definite winner. These guys and Ivoryline are bands that people should watch for the rest of their careers. For any rock or indie rock fan looking for something new Search the City is just the band for you.

A Little on the slow side but good nonetheless | Posted April-10-2008
Marcos returns for the next outing for P.O.D. Everybody thought that this album was going to be the next Satellite but that is not the case. The first 3 songs are amazing and should please any old-school P.O.D. fan while the rest of the album showcases the slow style with a few rockin tracks thrown in for good measure. Fans who thought that this was going to be Satellite Part 2 are going to be disappointed with this album while people who have heard of the band but have not heard most of their music should definably check this album out.

Hawk Nelson is so totally my friend after this! | Posted April-04-2008
Hawk's back with 12 brand spankin' new rockin' tracks. At first the album title is kind of weird but don't judge an album just by it's name. The 12 songs that are found here have just as much energy as their past albums. Also the most interesting thing about the album is the "booklet." It's not really an album booklet at all. It's a board game. I haven't had a chance to play it yet but it does look fun. (BTW: the actual CD is the wheel for the board game.) If you have been unsure about this band then take a listen to this album and I garantee that Hawk Nelson will soon become your best friend.
