Good Mix | Posted May-29-2010
This Cd has got a good mix of very popular worship songs (REVELATION SONG) and new songs that may not be as mainstream (WHERE YOU GO I GO/ YOU WON't relent/ WE CRY OUT) by some well know artists (kari Jobe, Jared Anderson) and some of the upcoming artists that will transform worship music (Kim Walker/ Misty Edwards) It's a good pick up to get introduced to these amazing artists

Meh | Posted May-17-2010
The lead single doesn't leave me much hope for the rest of the album. It's an overused concept and cliche lyrics. I'm not really looking forward to the rest of the album.

I LOVE THIS CHICK | Posted May-17-2010
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS GIRL! First heard her on Chris Tomlin's Christmas album and fell in love with her voice! (what a voice) She is the America's answer to Australia's Brooke fraser! Great song!

It's ok | Posted May-17-2010
It's an ok album. There are some songs on it that are good, some are ok, some are just bad. Honestly. And the ones that are ok and bad- are just cliche' they are overused in ideas, melodies, and lyrics.

OH HOW I LOVE THIS | Posted May-17-2010
I love this book with a passion- It is the best poke at Christianity and Christian circles without being irreverent or mean-spirited! It kind of makes people take a subjective look at what we do as Christians and laugh at some of the absurdity of it- and helps up see how people come to the conclusions about us that they draw! I love the book! It's a must read- In fact- I need to buy it ASAP.

I love all the artists that contribute to the Passion movement. but I must say that I was unimpressed by this collection of songs. While the songs and artists are good, it just has this worn out feel to it. It's getting old. I mean on "God of this City" The title track was powerful with the masses singing behind Tomlin- and it was a little known song at the time from a little known artist (Bluetree)- so Passion introduced it to the US- and it took off. But this cd really doesn't have one of those moments.
There are alot of songs that sound similar to other worship songs either in lyrics or chord structure- (example: Christy Nockels "healing is in your hands" sounds like an updated version of "Amazed" or "Grace Flows Down")

One of the best pop albums out | Posted April-13-2010
I was alittle scared at first from what she was going to sound like- I had her debut album and it really was just a RSJ sound-a-like chick. No real artistry or flare. This album however is leaps and bounds better than her debut.
Euro Pop with a little quirkiness to it- I love it. It is very current and very in tune to something that mainstream artists are putting out- granted it is alittle lowkey and safe at times but overall it's a solid pop record- the title track is one of the best tracks and the instrumentation on Tell Me is beautiful!
Some good stuff.
Worth buying!

Good Predictor of Things to Come | Posted February-16-2010
One of the most underrated acts in CCM. TRS produces some of the best pop/rock music out there. Hills and Valleys is such a great upbeat love song. You Gotta Believe is almost as cool as it's video (haha). and there is the bonus track "Fight" which is just awesome! :) Worth the money!
