Jon Acuff is AWESOME! This book is so funny and so good that you will not want to put it down. I love how he uses humor to make his point about how we Christians can be so silly in the way we do life. He encourages us to just walk in the word and stop making up our own "ideas" of how things should be.

The introduction to this book made me laugh enough to buy it. However, I still had reservations about how it was going to present information. A book poking fun at the habits of Christians has to be walking a fine line between being too politically correct and being too irreverent. And, somehow, this book managed to be random and hilarious without ever really putting down Christianity. So, I applaud John Acuff for his feat. This is a book my friends (both Christian and non-Christian) can enjoy, and my pastors won't be offended by.

I love this book with a passion- It is the best poke at Christianity and Christian circles without being irreverent or mean-spirited! It kind of makes people take a subjective look at what we do as Christians and laugh at some of the absurdity of it- and helps up see how people come to the conclusions about us that they draw! I love the book! It's a must read- In fact- I need to buy it ASAP.

This is a great book that you will laugh your way through. It is brilliant. Personally I think it is best to read it aloud among friends especially before or after a Bible study!
