Didn't like the studio album | Posted August-17-2010
Didn't care for the studio album so I don't think that this album will do anything for me. It's just not good- it's covers of other people's songs and they aren't done well- the only standout track is "MERCY" Marketing ploy...

It's ok | Posted August-17-2010
I'm a big fan of hers- but I don't really care for this album- It takes a couple of new songs throws it in the mix with a couple of old songs and then old songs that have been chopped up and reconfigured to make you think that they are new- "You're Good Lord" for example.
Eh...

Mixed | Posted August-17-2010
Initially I was caught off guard by this CD because it seemed like that it was just a cover album- but upon further investigation I learned that some of the songs that I THOUGHT were covers were original songs (Unrestrained) and were quite good.
I'm not a fan of artists just doing covers of songs as half their album- he does them well- it's just so does anybody else that can play a guitar.

I like acoustic covers of songs- not sure that I would pay for them on a separate EP- she could have just included them on a deluxe edition or on a different CD as bonus tracks.

OK- Cool title | Posted August-17-2010
It's an OK album. It doesn't break any molds or venture off into new territory in the pop arena. I'm not too thrilled with the cover songs of Hillsong songs Desert Song and The Greatness of Our God (although I like her version Greatness). It just gets old to have people cover other people's music. Human is probably the worst song that on the album- it's trite. cliche' overused. and sounds just like a song off of a Jordin Sparks record.

Great dance pop record | Posted July-08-2010
This album is filling a void in CCM music. Hands down one of the best dance/pop albums that has come out in recent years. This album suits her voice- the music is catchy and the lyrics surprisingly not as cliche as I thought they would be. A few really stand out tracks (Shine, Feels So Right, Love It Away, You'll Never Know)

While I like this worship leader- I was surprised by this album. It is a live album- so i give that credit- but something seems off with some of the tracks in the sound mix. It's strange to hear someone sing with passion when it seems like there is no other participation from the crowd- you wonder- why is he singing like that? there are a few tracks where the vocals are really week- "I love the way you love me" but I appreciate the track because of the spontenatiety of it and the passion that is there. It's got some covered songs that I wish weren't recovered- he doesn't do anything special to them- "Everlasting God- for example" but I do love Blow Mighty Breath of God- such a beautiful track.

A Great worship Album | Posted June-25-2010
This album is a solid worship project- it was recorded live at Bethel church in Redding California and has some high caliber guest artists like Chris McClarney and Rita Springer. Highlights of the album- Burn and Sweeter

SUMMER ALBUM! | Posted June-15-2010
This album is so catchy- First heard "Here In this MOment" on Air1 this past spring and I loved it- kind of reminded me of Chris Brown's "Forever"- I am glad to see some of the sonic elements and beats being used in mainstream music cross over to the Christian genre. Her voice is great. Songs are good. Beats are awesome.

ep of the summer! | Posted June-11-2010
i'm impressed- they keep getting better- the only group that is bringing this kind of positive music that in step with the current music trends! Live It Up/Manipulation both had elements of the music (changes in tempo/style) of current music like the BlackEyed Peas but in my opinion executed just alittle bit better. Breakdown is the weakest track of the album.
