Epic, Euro pop. Charmaine has a sound that is unforgettable and a message that is unmistakable.
It’s not every day you meet someone who seems so secure in their insecurities. It’s the lovely sense of contrasts that is part of Charmaine. Her life as a modern-day gypsy has kept her anchored to her family and her life’s mission.
An only child of parents who immigrated to Australia from Chile, Charmaine was raised in Sydney, Australia. With music at the core of their family, her parents committed their lives to music ministry and traveled the world as part of a vocal group; Charmaine was born on tour in Los Angeles and raised out of a suitcase.
At 16, her musical gift was discovered and she moved to the US and toured with notable artists such as Rebecca St. James, Jeremy Camp, Newsboys and more.
In 2009, an opportunity arose to release an album of her own for in:ciite (formerly Indelible Creative Group); the record, Love Reality, hit shelves in the spring of 2010. “This project has exceeded our expectations and our support and belief in Charmaine goes beyond the music to the core of who she is as a person,” says Chris Thomason, CEO of in:ciite.
Charmaine most recently released an EP, Love Somebody, in 2014.

I am so impressed with the change that she has made in her vocals and in her sound from Her debut album to her sophmore album- the wait has done her good! Great artist!

I listened to the whole album and I have to say that for the most part its a pretty solid Pop album I guess her being a former background singer for Rebecca St. James I kinda held it against her but I was pretty impressed. I went ahead and got the free download of Tokyo and put it onto my iPod and I will check it out a little more. If you like Rebecca, or Brit Nicole I think you will enjoy this very much. Hope this helps God Bless!
