This thing is gonna be great. I absolutely can’t wait till this album comes out. It has my top 3 favorite albums on it. I would definitely recommend this trilogy album to anyone. This is a good way to get the top 3 albums.

Although this seems like just another band to me, I do like several songs off of this album. Scottish is probably the best song off of this album. It’s quite easy to understand what is being sung and everything but I wouldn’t want to listen to this album all the time. I’d suggest listening to the songs first before buying any.

Pretty good | Posted May-11-2010
The first song I heard on it was Say This Sooner and I loved it. I don’t really sing to any of the songs but it’s just a good album to listen to. It just has certain kind of “drive” to it that keeps me interested in it. I think this is an album worth getting with only like one or two songs that didn’t impress me.

This album is probably my least favorite by Aaron Shust. I’d give it a 2 star rating because none of the songs really caught me lyrically or musically. A lot of the songs seemed rather long, most of them are around 4 minutes long and start to repeat themselves after a while. This album seems quieter than Anything Worth Saying and less thrilling then it.

Ok.. | Posted May-11-2010
Although Aaron Shust is not my favorite artist, this is my favorite album by him. The best songs off of this album are Matchless, My Savior My God, and Gave It All Away. The rest of the songs are just ok. There’s not a whole lot I have to say about this album because this isn’t really my favorite artist or kind of music but he definitely has a few songs worth getting on this album.

Pretty good | Posted May-04-2010
I didn’t used to like this album or this band but they kind of grew on me after listening to it for a while. It’s not my favorite band but I like several songs from this album. Broken is my favorite song off of it. Most of the other songs are pretty cool too. I’d give this album an average rating of 3 and a half stars. I’m not particularly fond of the voice of the lead singer but I still enjoy listening to the songs. When comparing them to other artists, I’d say they sound kinda like 3 Doors Down, and maybe a little bit like Skillet but not near as good. Even so this is an album worth adding to your library.

The Alien Youth alblum is definetly album worth getting. This album is a little different then the other albums, it had a different kind of "taste" to it. It seems to have more affects. I absolutely love the drums in this album, I think that this album has some of the best drum playing.

1. Alien Youth, the first song, proudly admits that christians do not belong in this world, that they are the minority, that they are the freaks. It confidently states we are going to impact this world. Altogether a great opening song.

2. Vapor has got to be my favorite song on the album. I LOVE the drum work in it. I love the fact that it makes you aknowledge the fact that we are in this world only temporarily.

3. You Are My Hope is a quieter song then the first two. It praises God by recognizing that He is our hope and strength.

4. Eating Me Away is one of those songs that has a kind of desperation to it. To me it seems like a song of questions and futilities.

5.Kill Me Heal Me is another song that I really like on the instrument work. It gives me the impression that it's about craving a release from hurt no matter how hard it is to reach the relief.

6. The Thirst Is Taking Over makes me think of a person who has gone without God too long and begins to feel the affects of it and realizes he needs God back to water his hurt, and calloused soul.

7. One Real Thing explains that the only real thing you can caount on in life and in the future is God.

8. Stronger proclaims that with God with us, we are stronger then the devil.

9. Rippin' Me Off, another song which I love the drums! This song answers the worlds various views of God in a catch song filled with fun affects.

10.Will You Be There seems to me like a plea for help. This softer song pleads rescue when the pain and darkness in life becomes too much.

11. Come My Way. This song seems like a Skillet version of Kumbaya. Just asking God to come and help.A plead to be noticed and helped among a sea of sorrowful faces.

This album was VERY impressive in my opinion. It was amazing both lyricly and musically. Make sure you get the duluxe edition, you don't want to miss out on the two bonus tracks.

The first song Hero forces you to realize that you really do need a Hero in your life. The Hero(Jesus) is the only One that can save you.

The second song, Monster, shows you for what you really are. We are all sinners, monsters inside. I think that Monster points you in the direction of Hero and that they both go hand in hand with each other.

Awake and Alive makes you feel just as it says it does, awake and alive. This song inspires me to face the world head on with vigor like I've never felt.

Now the song Don't Wake Me I can't really relate to it but I do think that it is a great song for those who can relate to it.

One Day Too Late I have got to say is my favorite song on this album, it's lyrics mean so much to me, it encourages people to strive harder in life so as not to waste the precious little time we have. Time wasted is time regretted later.

It's Not Me It's You I really do like, but I feel like it's a song that makes you blame other people for your own mistakes. But I do enjoy it.

Should've When You Could've is one of my least favorite songs on this album because I can't really relate to it.

The song Believe is my least favorite of the album. I don't really have much to say about it.

Forgiven is another one of the best songs on the album. It helps the person realize that no matter how many promises you break, no matter how many times you turn away, God is always there to take you back and forgive you. The part where it says "I've loved another" is like a sermon my pastor preached one day out of the Bible where God was using a man to demonstrate how he feels about us. The man was instructed by God to marry a women who was unfaithful so that he could live how God feels about us because of how unfaithful we are.

Sometimes is right on target for me, that is how I feel sometimes. I feel like I don't want to be a better person, or feel better when I'm feeling bad. Sometimes I want other people to feel as bad or hurt as I do. Sometimes I know what I'm doing wrong and I just don't care. This song really pulls it out and puts it in perspective, it gets a person thinking.

Never Surrender is another life saving song by Skillet. It just pulls you through the tough times you are going through. It's another song that hits home with it's lyrics.

The saddest song on this album is Lucy, when I really think about it it brings tears to my eyes. It is left open enough that it can relate to any loss that a person has experienced, from suicide, abortion, death, anything really. It's lets you know that you have to love your family/friends while they are still there.

Dead inside is kind of like Hero to me, I just love belting out ♪Dead Inside! my heart and soul flatline♫ It's just fun to sing.

Would It Matter is an awesome song too. I always think of it would matter if anybody would care or notice if I just "left". I always wonder how I would be remember or if I would even be remembered. Sometimes I wonder if it matters that I try or not. It just, I can't describe it, it's just really great.

Comatose is one of the best albums put out by Skillet. With every album they put out they just keep getting better and better. With plenty of have tones a few power ballads, this is an album that’ll rock your face off. Skillet does such an awesome job putting songs together.

1. Rebirthing is one of the songs with the most raw power in it. The first thing I think when hearing this song is Ted Dekker’s Circle Series how the main characters had to like, let themselves drown in the lake to be reborn. That was them rebirthing and starting again purified.

2. The Last Night can be really personal to some people. It is a song about a girl wanting to commit suicide. It tells you that God is watching you and doesn't want you to be alone and hurting. He is ready and waiting for you to be with Him. Even if noone else understand your pain God is there for you. The strings and the keys in this song are spectacular.

3. When you are hurt, or angered, then you want nothing more then to be alone. Sometimes you think the best way to keep from being hurt or angered is to just shut everything out and hide yourself from the world. Yours to Hold addresses this problem by presenting the reality that God is always there and waiting to hold you up when you are feeling down and that you don't need to be alone.

4. The song Better Than Drugs presents the way God can affect you. God's love can get you on a high so spectacular that it puts drug highs to shame and it has no negative side affects. Drugs give you a temporary high but leaves you broken inside and messed up. God's love is opposite, you go through a temporary hard time before being rewarded immensly.

5. The strings on this song are amazing. Comatose helps you realize that it is far too hard to live without God. Life is hopeless and helless without Him. You fall into a feeling of complaceny and nothing can sate your need for Him.

6. This song, the Older I Get is a song of regret. It stresses not to waste your life waiting for someone else to fix mistakes that were made. So many good memories could have been made while waiting for each other to make the first move towards apology.

7. If you've ever felt like the only good times in your life were the times spent with your best friend then you can relate to this song. Sometimes the only thing that can blot out the pain of life is having a close friend to keep you going. Memories of these times with your friend are priceless in times of darkness and help you realize that things can get better no matter how dark life gets.

8. Falling Inside The Black is a rather dark song. It blatantly puts out your need for God. Without God you feel like you can't crawl out of despair. It's just a downward spiral without Him. This song will bring tears to your eyes if you can relate to it.

9. Say Goodbye sounds like a relationship broken. But I think it is left open enough that it can be taken as any kind of loss. I love the keys in this song.

10.With amazing guitars and catchy choruses, Whispers in the Dark has to be one of the greatest songs on this album. This song reminds people that no matter how dark life gets Gjod is always around, so you'll never be alone.

11. Looking For Angels is different then all the other songs. It seems like Skillet always has one song that is just "different from the rest". They approach this song in a kind of a speech/song kind of thing. It basically says that people are always looking for relief in this life, through drugs, suicide, etc. Looking for a reason to live, looking for hope.

12. Live Free or Let Me Die is a song with a raw kind of power to it. It bluntly puts people as failures without God. It reminds that God is the one holding us up and giving us strength.

These are just my views of these songs. Everyone takes songs differently. But I think that this album is great for anybody.
