A Little Extra-ordinary CD | Posted March-02-2010
This CD gives a preview of what Matthew West truly can do. It doesn't have the lyrical depth of his later releases and does not include the beats of them either but it is worth getting.

Good but Not Starfield | Posted March-02-2010
This album release is decent but is not even close to Starfield. Even the lead singer sounds different than he does on the early releases.
Starfield tries to pull off a subtle soft inspiring sound almost like Leeland and Carried to the Table. But with face value lyrics and no real beat they cannot pull it off at all. This CD is a sub par release at best.

Pieces another Grammy nominee | Posted March-02-2010
Pieces of a Real Heart is another amazing album from Sanctus Real. Songs like 'Forgiven' and 'Lead Me' are amazing but sure hits will include 'Redeemer' and 'I'll Show You How To Live'. This is an amazing CD as none of them sound the same but yet flow beautifully.

Needs more Songs for Hit | Posted February-25-2010
Above the Golden State's second release is great. The Golden Rule and I am Loved stand out more than any other. But there choice to go only with six songs may or may not pay off for them. Hopefully their fans will want more.

Tonight is not tobyMac's night | Posted February-25-2010
tobyMac has made his fans wait for three years and now he releases a subpar album. The worst song being Funky Jesus Music. Really Toby? The songs seem to drift away from his usual theological raps in to almost I'm the star listen because I am. He needs to return to Loose My Soul and Made to Love. The only good song is City On Our Knees.

Something To Say | Posted February-20-2010
Matthew West has Something to Say. Not long after a surgery on his vocal chords which could have left him speechless he releases this album which will make many people happy. Songs like 'Something to Say' and 'Friend in the World' and 'You Are Everything' will become sure hits. Even 'The Motions' will become big. But others like 'Save a Place for Me' and 'Stop the World' seem out of place and bumpy in a CD that comes off as autobiographical.
Matthew West needs to continue his tradition of drawing from his life. These songs continue to be the best and most enthuiastic songs on the album. He needs continue to focus on acoustic pieces where he tells a story because that is when it seems he is happiest.
