Best one | Posted March 12, 2010
This cd is his best ever. If you're looking to get into Matthew West, get this one. It's got all you could ever want in a cd: great writing, great vox, and great music.

A Little Extra-ordinary CD | Posted March 02, 2010
This CD gives a preview of what Matthew West truly can do. It doesn't have the lyrical depth of his later releases and does not include the beats of them either but it is worth getting.

Decent | Posted February 02, 2010
This album has some fairly good musical qualities to it. Matthew West has a truly amazing voice. I give this only 3 stars for the reasoning that I personally am not a big fan of his music styling. The songs are slow paced and get old fast.

About the art | Posted July 06, 2009
Whoever designed the booklet is creative. Putting his name on cat food and a candy bar, having Matthew sitting in a grocery cart; it's different. And I liked the way each song was a different receipt.

Grows on You | Posted October 01, 2008
The album, as a whole seems kind of high schoolish.
This Ordinary Life: Kind of a nothig song. Doesn't say much
Sellout: Grabs you...really. I enjoyed this song so much.
Love Has No Walls: Typical of songs in its vein. Unremarkable
Mr. James: Good message. Needs a new chorus.
Open Wide My Heart: Pretty good. Standard
Be Strong: Envouraging
Stand: SYATP should adopt this as an anthem
Heart of Every Man: Hope to all. Good message
Forever And Beyond:Hopes of heaven. Nice
Just Like You: Interesting way of turning the phrase "just like"
