Awesome Worship Project | Posted February-14-2011
I love Bethel Church's music. They come out with a passion and fresh sound. I've heard most of the songs because I watch their worship services on ibethel.tv almost weekly- so I know alittle bit about what I'm talking about.
I'm surprised to see "You are Good" on this album- it's been on their last two- they've done some reworking of the song- which is nice- but I think it's time to let this song be.
One thing remains- is a powerful song that we are already singing in my church- it was covered by Jesus Culture but I like the Bethel Version MUCH MUCH better.
Furious is a track written by Jeremy Riddle (Sweetly Broken fame) and it's a great uptempo track that's lyrically a little different.
I don't really care for Be Lifted high.
God I look To You and I Will Exalt You are both great worship songs
Hope's Anthem is a great song as well- William Mathhews is a great worship leader- and it shows on the fun Deep Cries Out To Deep- i love that song.
One Thirst is a great song led by Jeremy Riddle and Stephanie Frizzel- the passion in that song is amazing. I love it.

One song short | Posted February-07-2011
If this EP had Beautiful Beautiful on it- it would be the EP TO BUY. It would have all of her best songs on it on one EP. Very good marketing to put that selection of songs on the EP.

Solid Pop Album | Posted February-07-2011
It's a solid pop album. Her voice is unique so I always seem to stop and listen to her songs- I like the jazzy undertones that she puts in her music. This is the Stuff is pretty much a catchy song even though it uses the infamous ukukele that is becoming famous in music (Train, Jason Mraz)

I love this band | Posted January-25-2011
I seriously love this band.
Gave it all is such a good opener and Savior of the Broken heart is awesome. the vocals are really unique and they draw you in- I like how it's a studio recorded album without having the feel of a canned studio recorded session- they give some fluidity to the songs which is nice.

Growth. | Posted January-10-2011
I can say that Brandon really did mean what he said when he said he was experimenting with new sounds and that this is the most "POP" sounding record he's done- it's true. Kudos for growth.

He's worth checking out. I'm Not Who I was was a massive radio hit- and it had every right to be- honest lyrics and a cool backbeat- songs worth having: Don't Get Comfortable, I'm Not Who I was, Let's Make It Last

Pretty SOlid Album | Posted January-10-2011
I'm normally not a fan of mainstream CCM artist but Brandon heath isn't typical- songs off this CD worth having: London (beautiful), Wait and See, Love Never Fails (perfect for weddings), Listen Up (my favorite), No Not One (which was covered by Christy Nockels)

Remember and Speed Up | Posted January-04-2011
Pass on this album- it's not really a good album. I find it musically boring. Lyrically cheap- and all the outros and intros are annoying.
Get it together RK.

Eh... | Posted January-04-2011
I was disappointed with this album. I thought it may have been going back to the epic-ness of "Cities" but it fell short in so many ways. Most of the songs just don't grab your attention
Impossible and Down are best tracks on the album. So I would just download those and save yourself the money and the heartache.
The last two albums from this band have only produced 2-3 songs worth keeping around.

I like Tomlin. I'll say that- first off.
However, I don't really like this album.
It lacks creativity by stealing the rhythm patterns of popular songs right now (I will follow and Majesty of Heaven) sounds like a Jordin Sparks track. - so it already seems trite. OR it sounds like a Hillsongs song written by Brooke Fraser (All To Us)
I like Our God- the strings added to it are great- really add a nice touch from the live song. Also like The Name Of Jesus
If there were no lyrics to "No Chains on Me" it would be a musically interesting song- but IF you listen you can hear the same melody and chord structure as New life worship's "I AM FREE" same lyrical theme as well.
It has about the same appeal to me one of SonicFlood's recent worship albums.
