Not quite restored... | Posted October-02-2007
Restored was the CD that got me into Jeremy Camp and I dont know if another can quite measure up, but this one does grow on you. He's such a talented artist and a really cool guy with a heart for God.

The CD starts out awesome and follows through. I was very impressed.

Not their best, but one of their firsts | Posted September-26-2007
I thought it was very cool. I like the song Scarecrow and Hey you, I love your soul. Its a good CD all around and they're very versatile on this cd...moving from softer rock to harder rock to techno to praise music. I own almost every Skillet CD and this is one of my favorites.

All I've ever heard from this | Posted September-20-2007
was the song frail...but if the rest of the CD is like it it should be a nice relaxing CD. Frail is nice and it makes you think a bit...
Your pain becomes my peace
This is my favorite line from it...Jesus suffered to bring us peace...its bold and powerful and portrays God's love. Jars of Clay have always had really cool and somewhat (at times) cryptic lyrics.

Old stuff here | Posted September-20-2007
I remember hearing the song Flood when I was just a kid and I always liked that song and never even knew who sang it until I saw Jars of Clay this year at Rock the Universe...they slaughtered it :/ but I guess that could have been cause they were in some pretty non-heterosexual gym shorts and shirt, but I dont know. They kind of got lame...this is when they were awesome!

The song Silence | Posted September-20-2007
actually got me into Jars of Clay. They're not a top favorite of mine, but they're good and they've been around forever and pretty much covered a lot of the genre spectrum. Pretty cool stuff.

This wasnt my favorite | Posted September-20-2007
but I liked it a lot. Skillet is a very versatile band...consisting of a more techno/industrial sound to heavy rock and soft rock...they're probably my favorite band these days. They're amazing live....anyway
Alien Youth was very cool. A cool idea...we're not of this world after all :) Clever. I also loved Vapor, Earth Invasion and Kill Me, Heal Me. Very cool concepts. More depth to a lot of their lyrics. Metaphorical...they're awesome!

Bought this today... | Posted September-20-2007
not sure what it would be like...but it turned out pretty good. I really just bought it cause I heard the song "Grace Like Rain" in my college and career group at church and loved it. Good CD...that song is one of my favorites. Its simple, yet it stirs up something in you helping you feel just how much God's grace can bless your life when you give it over to Him.
