i really like this album | Posted December-16-2012
this album has one of my favority songs on it. it is called the Kadosh. For those that do not know, this is teh Hebrew word for Holy. every single time i hear this song i want to start signing to it. (i am fluent in ASL). It makes me very worshipful.

good worship album | Posted December-16-2012
this is one of several messianic albums that i own. i like the fact that this has the traditional jewish song called the Shema on it. I also really like Shout for Joy. Many times we don't remember to do just that in our lives today.

good cd | Posted July-09-2011
ok, i have to admit that the main reason that i bought this album is because the place i was buying from was going out of business and i got it for about 80% off. i'm not a huge david crowder fan. that being said, i can enjoy this album for what it is... and it is a worship album. it's not my favorite but it's good.

really speaks to me - pun intended | Posted October-09-2010
this album truly did (and does) have something to say to me. some of the songs i can really relate to. plus the fact that mr west wasn't able to even speak for quite a while due to his surgery... well, that's very powerful that he can still sing.

keep them coming!! | Posted October-09-2010
ok, i just got this album 2 days ago. i've already listened to it about 10 times. i've been listening to AP as he's known for over 10 years - probably closer to 15. i own all his albums except his independent album called WALK. with this new album i think that my favorite song (so far) is "dancing in the minefields". his lyrics are always so descriptive that i can close my eyes and see exactly the images that he paints with his words. in my opinion he's one of the most underrated artists in christian music today.

listened to it many times since i got it | Posted September-30-2010
someone on amazon.com summed up this album very well... he said, "Johnny Cash was a deeply flawed, but also highly religious, man. His last albums for the American label, produced by Rick Ruben, are full of songs in which Cash grapples with his impending death, and his relationship with God. But Cash did not come to this genre late in life. This album, The Gospel Music of Johnny Cash, focuses on his religiously inspired work from decades past.
A very good collection. Highly recommended."
