Captured Again by Dan Captured Again by Dan
The production values on this release are more simplistic than Dan's later albums, but I was pleasantly surprised by how the excellent songwriting on some of the tracks really overcame any shortcomings...
The Listening EP by Dan The Listening EP by Dan
A short EP of works from Dan featuring 3 songs in total with the 4th track being a radio edit. I honestly didn't feel that any of the songs on this release really grabbed me or made me want to re-listen...
For You From You by Dan For You From You by Dan
This release is very worshipful throughout and entirely focused on God and our response to and wonder of Him. Dan has a unique voice that is pleasant to listen to, and the lyrics for this album are very...

This is a top notch release from Kirk Franklin featuring a wide mixture of studio and live performances and showcases man of the top vocalists in gospel/CCM music. As always, the album is very Christ focused and with 17 tracks is a great value, especially considering the quality of the tracks included.

Great Gospel release | Posted May-08-2011
An amazing modern gospel album that has quite a bit of variety in the styles presented and strong performances and songwriting all the way through. Featuring many popular gospel/ccm artists, this release is extremely well crafted and worshipful. This release stands out as Kirk Franklin's first all-out studio release with no live performances. My favorite track is "Let it Go".

Kirk Franklin Presents Songs For The Storm, Volume 1 | Posted May-26-2011

A greatest hits collection of songs from Kirk Franklin that instead of necessarily focusing on the biggest chart toppers has more of a focus on worshipful ballads over the years. This would be a really good collection for people who would like a retrospective of this type. The album flows very smoothly throughout and is put together well.

The Fight Of My Life | Posted May-26-2011

This is a truly diverse and captivating album that explores many of the realities of the Christian faith and it's often struggles and pitfalls. Many musical styles are explored throughout and like most of Kirk's releases are done with very high quality and Christ focused. My favorite track was "Still in Love".

Hello Fear | Posted May-26-2011

Overall I would say this release is a very uplifting collection of songs, although I will admit it didn't catch my attention as much as Kirk's last few albums. My favorite track on this release is "But the Blood". I'm sure this release will be enjoyed by many.

Ok | Posted March-02-2011
I was very glad to have been able to listen to this album and found it great lyrically. The songs didn't move me in particular though, so I will simply say that I wish the band the best in their ministry.

Very Worshipful | Posted March-02-2011
I really liked how accessible and outright this release is in it's praise to God. I found it to be very worshipful, well produced and enjoyed the opportunity to hear it. In the end though, the only song that really grabbed me is the one that is being released as a single. I have a large Christian music collection so I tend to be very picky about items I add to my collection.

Good | Posted February-22-2011
I enjoyed getting a chance to listen to this release this week on NRT but honestly nothing really reached out and grabbed me as a "need to have" track. I really liked many of the songs lyrically, but musically maybe it just didn't appeal to the style of music I usually purchase. Overall I think the album was done well and will definitely minister to many.

Letters to the President | Posted May-27-2011

Hawk Nelson's first major release. This punk/pop release is full of many catchy rhythms and provides a good dose of variety. I liked the upbeat attitude of this album overall. I came to Christian music looking for CD's that were a little stronger in their focus on Christ so this wouldn't be something I would purchase, but I'm sure will be enjoyed by many who like this genre.

Letters to the President: Deluxe Edition | Posted May-27-2011

This would definitely be the version of this release to pick up for any fan of the band. Adding 7 additional tracks to the previous 14 makes this a great bonus edition. The acoustic tracks make for a nice touch and slight variance from the standard pop/punk sound of the rest of the album.
