I'm not a huge fan of the band overall but do like some of their songs here and there. This was a good solid release and sure to be popular among fans.

Huge retrospective | Posted February-15-2011
An enormous collection of Hawk Nelson's early material. A great release for anyone who doesn't have these early works and wants the songs all collected in one volume.

A very strong release with lyrics that are centered on Christ and very worshipful. I think I enjoyed the first two releases a little more than this latest one but still greatly respect and admire the band and all they do to proclaim Christ and minister in His name. In some ways I felt this latest album went a little too "Christian rock band worship cookie cutter" for me in that it doesn't stand out as much as I thought the first two did and starts to kind of sound like a large volume of things I hear on CCM radio. It's not that it's bad at all...it just seemed to blend into too many other things I've heard. It may grow on me though after hearing it a few things though as it is still a very solid release.

It's amazing to go back and listen to an earlier release from a band you like only to find something else you really like. This release has all the strong songwriting and well crafted worship elements of their later albums. Very well done.

An excellent release with well written and performed songs that focus on Christ and are very worshipful. Definitely a CD I enjoy having in my collection.
