The production values on this release are not as well done as their more recent releases (as someone who is finding out about this CD after being familiar with thier later material). It's amazing how great the band is though even with the simpler production. In many ways the simpler production gives this release a more raw and "live" feel to it and is definitely one I will be picking up soon. An amazing band that can continue to put out moving and inspiring releases year after year.

I sampled this CD on Itunes today and was amazed at how much I enjoyed it. I plan on picking up this release soon and am so glad Illuminate was highlighted on the NRT this month.

A solid release with strong Christ centered lyrics and a strong message of worship. A CD I definitely plan on picking up in the near future. My favorite song is"Hope is Rising"

Diverse and Modern Sound | Posted February-15-2011
I felt this release definitely added a modern mix of diverse styles to the Christian music market. I enjoyed many of the songs and look forward to listening to it this week on NRT.

I really enjoyed listening to this album and plan on adding it to my music library soon. This is a release that I think not only myself, but my wife and children would enjoy listening to as well. It is very Christ focused and many of the songs are very rhythmic with a hip-hop style beat. I really enjoy this type of music and am thankful for Brandon's ministry.

I appreciated the chance to listen to this album free here on NRT, but it is probably not something I would reach for on Christmas. I guess I'm just a stickler for the old classic Christmas albums.

I am honestly not that familiar with the choir's past works, but found this release to be very uplifting, encouraging and well done. It initially struck me as a very classic sounding work and seemed well mixed with solo performances and choir work. Focused on Jesus from beginning to end!
