Over the past decade, Aaron Shust has earned a reputation as one of Christian music's most compelling songwriters and a vocalist of considerable depth and passion. He was named both New Artist and Songwriter of the Year at the 2007 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards and the impact of his song, "My Savior My God" was recognized with the Song of the Year honor. He has continued to build on that early promise to become one of the community's most creative and trusted voices. Shust is well known for such hits as "My Hope is in You," which spent 14 weeks at No. 1, "No One Higher," which hit the summit on the Inspirational chart and "Ever Be," which made its way to No. 3 on the NCA chart. "O Come O Come Emmanuel" has become a perennial holiday favorite, earning acclaim as the most played song each December for 10 years in a row.
An amazing artist| Posted July 12, 2013
Aaron Shust is, in my opinion, a truly great guy who also happens to make really catchy/moving music. He is one of the first artists I ever listened to in the Christian Music genre.
waiting on this| Posted July 11, 2013
I've been waiting on Aaron's newest album. Saw him at NWLC in Lancaster,PA in May. Was really encouraged at his "concert", if you call it that. It truly was an experience with God. I love the fact of how raw he was; just real and emotional. genuine. As a worship leader myself, I can really appreciate his honesty in leading worship that sometimes life stinks. Really encouraged by him.
Anxiously Awaiting New Release| Posted July 11, 2013
Fairly new to the Christian Music genre (apprx 2 yrs), I'm thankful and genuinely delighted to have discovered music that gives praise, worship, and honor to our almighty Lord and Savior. I've also been blessed to have attended Christian music concerts, fully experiencing the glory of God through the music of talented artists -specifically, Aaron Shust. A fan since the first time I listened to his song, "Risen Today"; a greater fan after seeing him in concert (All Things Possible Tour, Rockaway, NJ - April 2013). Absolutely love, God of Brilliant Lights, and so looking forward to the release of his new album, Morning Rises.
Keeping Aaron and his family in my prayers - praying blessings, health and peace over their lives.
