Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Below, we have listed a few highlights and included the rest for your review. As always, follow our New Christian Rap and Hip-Hop playlist on Spotify and Apple Music to listen to all the latest.
Parris Chariz - "Christ or Cash" Reflection Music Group’s (RMG) Parris Chariz released a high-octane street anthem from the front lines equipped with explosive production (Chugs) and lyrical conviction. Chariz has long been the "Wave" architect of the CHH space, blending Detroit-inspired grit with a melodic sensibility that feels both atmospheric and urgent. With his latest release, Chariz moves beyond the aesthetic and leans into a heavy, existential question that haunts every artist operating at the intersection of faith and industry.
The title isn't just a clever alliteration; it’s a binary choice. Chariz navigates the tension of wanting to provide for his family and scale his career while keeping his soul intact. He has never been one to hide the "work" behind the "worship." On this track, he’s vocal about the pressures of the independent grind—the invoices, the travel, and the temptation to prioritize the bag over the call.
"Cash or Christ" is a quintessential Chariz track. It manages to stay club-adjacent while remaining deeply introspective. For those who follow his "Air Chariz" journey, this feels like a pivotal chapter—an artist checking his coordinates before reaching the next level of success. It’s polished, provocative, and undeniably catchy.
LANELL GRANT with Porsha Love, Tylynn, Tukool Tiff, and Anike - "Big Girl Big God Remix" When LaNell Grant dropped the original "Big Girl Big God" on her 2025 opus My Name Is Nell, it felt like a complete statement—a bold, self-produced anthem about finding security in faith. But with the newly released remix, Grant has transformed a personal declaration into a full-scale movement, enlisting a "who’s who" of Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) heavyweights to amplify the message. True to her reputation as a top-tier producer, Grant doesn't just recycle the old beat. The remix maintains the cinematic, low-end heavy foundation that defined her work with Tobe Nwigwe, but it feels more expansive here. The track clocks in at nearly five minutes, allowing each artist enough room to breathe without the song feeling overstuffed. The bass is punchy, the percussion is crisp, and the atmospheric vocal layers—Grant’s signature—provide a hauntingly beautiful backdrop for the lyrical fire.
This isn't just a collection of guest verses; it’s a cohesive collaboration. Anike delivered her characteristic high-energy flow complete with a technical precision that sets the bar high early on. Known for her drill-inspired grit, Porsha Love adds a layer of raw intensity that contrasts perfectly with the more melodic sections of the track. Tylynn and Tukool Tiff provide the lyrical connective tissue, offering smooth transitions and verses that lean heavily into the "Big God" theology of the track.
The "Big Girl Big God Remix" is a rare case where the remix feels as essential as the original. It’s a celebratory, high-octane showcase of female talent in the rap space, proving that "big" production and "big" faith are a formidable combination. Stream the “Big Girl Big God Remix” on Spotify and Apple Music.
STIXX aka Conejo feat. Kevi Morse - "GOD FLEX" Two of the finest and most talented emcees from Grand Rapids, Michigan, STIXX aka Conejo and Kevi Morse deliver a spring certified bop for the people. The single is a faith-driven anthem that flips the meaning of flexing in hip-hop. Instead of boasting about money or status, STIXX and Morse remind listeners that the real flex is what God has done in your life. The song combines confident lyricism with a melodic hook and a heavy hitting beat, delivering a message that true strength doesn’t come from ego — it comes from God and faith. The track was produced, mixed and mastered by STIXX. Stream “GOD FLEX” on Spotify and Apple Music.
