One of the most standout occurrences we read in the Bible and hear stories about is miracles. Those powerful moments where God does the impossible in healing, provision, and wonder show us the power of God and how intentional He is to break through in our lives. One thing Christians have debated is whether miracles are just for the times we read about in the Bible or whether God still performs them in our current day and age. Although debating can go back and forth, no one can deny clear testimony and evidence.
Angel Studios has entered that space with the release of one of their newest and hottest shows, Miracle. The show is a dramatic documentary, with each episode sharing a testimony of healing from someone whose experience can only be explained as a miracle. From paralysis to blindness, nothing is too hard for God, and the show isn't afraid to go into the depths each individual was in and the breakthrough God provided.
I was invited to attend the premiere and experience the show with the cast, crew, and guests in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was a wonderful time to hear the stories of so many people who poured their hearts into creating this show and how God has moved in their lives. Along with watching the episodes, the event featured several Christian artists performing original songs inspired by the show. Some of these artists include Terrian, Sarah Reeves, Ryan Ellis, Rita Springer, Evan and Eris, and more. Terrian especially stole the show, showcasing her now radio hit, "Testimony," which earned her a standing ovation.
The premiere showcased the first three episodes of the show and blew me away with how well they were done. If you're a fan of true crime or drama documentaries, Miracle is done with a quality that surpasses those easily, thanks to its amazing storytelling, editing, and music throughout. The testimonies shown are powerful, as the show uses factual proof of each individual's previously diagnosed injury and evidence of their healing to show how God has healed them. It's told in a way that feels like a powerful redemption story, hooking you rather than just telling you.
After the event, it ended with a powerful moment of prayer, a message, and worship, as everyone was encouraged to write prayer requests and receive prayer from the prayer team. It was beautiful to see, even at a movie premiere, such care to pray and believe God for healing for everyone in the room. Miracle is truly a beautiful and needed series that I'm so glad exists, offering hope and showing that the same God in the Bible is the God we serve, who is very much alive and moving.
Season 1 is available now to watch on Angel Studios.
