Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Below, we have listed a few highlights and included the rest for your review. Aaron Cole feat. Parris Chariz and Jon Keith - "NOBODY BUT GOD"
RCA Inspiration’s Aaron Cole teams up with World 45’s Parris Chariz and the indie tribe. member Jon Keith for his first new music of 2025. The track serves as a poignant reminder for those with a story. For individuals who’ve been through “some stuff”. When all else fails, we must remember, “Nobody but God” possesses the solution. The key to victory. God only, nothing or nobody else is required. The track switches it up, actually beginning with verses from Chariz, then Cole, and ending with Keith. Roy Tosh and Peabod - "Everything Gonna Be Alright"
RMG Amplify’s Roy Tosh and Peabod band together for one of the summer anthems for 2025. The track defies all negativity, “fake news”, and gloomy outlooks, smothering such noise with positivity, encouragement, and just godly love. The track is a bop, something essential for Friday night cruises, cookouts, or weekend activities. “Happy Rap” is sincerely needed in the current state of the world and the pervasive influence of news media. Both Tosh and Peabod glorify our Lord and what He’s capable of over quite a jazzed, upbeat soundscape. Stream “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” on Spotify and Apple Music.
ALL WE LIKE SHEEP by Childlike CiCi
Capitol CMG’s Childlike CiCi drops first project of 2025 and first album since 2022. Twelve tracks are included with an A-list featured artist compilation, including Lecrae, Jackie Hill Perry, KB, LaNell Grant, Tukool Tiff, Futuristic, Stevie Rizo, and Cejae. The theme behind the project derives from Isaiah 53:6, where wandering sheep choose their ways and mannerisms that stray far from God at times. However, we shall all return to the Good Shepherd in His excellent and perfect timing.
Favorites include "All I Know" featuring Tukool Tiff, Lanell Grant, and Jackie Hill Perry, "Party in the Heavens," and "Love in the Lost" featuring Cejae and Stevie Rizo. The project is some of her most vulnerable and honest verbal depictions to date. The context draws from her faith walk, the Lost Sheep parable as told by Jesus in the bible, and other witty scriptural references.
