Gas Street Music is the band of Gas Street Church in Birmingham, UK. The group is made up of many unique voices, all devoted to serving God. Some of the members include Tim Hughes, Luke & Anna Hellebronth, Nick Herbert, Michael Shannon and Millie Tilby. They began releasing music under this name just this year as a part of the Integrity Music label. The mission of this community is just that: to be a community that spreads the light of God to others everywhere. It is important to them that their lives are centered on the word of God as well as worshipping Him all the time. This dedication shines through in their music.

NEW: "The River"

There's a freedom that's wild in the heart of the Father
There's a freedom so wild in His heart
So jump in
Jump in

After a while, Christianity can melt into our lives as just another "must." It becomes a mindset of having to pray, having to attend church, having to make time for God, you get the point. But what if we lived like the first time we got that glorious glimpse of heaven? It probably made your jaw drop and you shivered with chills in amazement of God's glory. God truly is glorious, but we seem to lose this awe of Him. We have got to recapture that miraculous joy! Search out His mercy in your life today. Find 5 things to be grateful for; your first one can be our freedom in His love. Let's return to jumping in joy like we never left. Wild is such a powerful word, but it is so perfect for the freedom we experience as a Christian. We are blessed to be considered one of God's children. I encourage you to carry that thought with you and try a perspective of gratefulness today. It'll make you see the world differently.

NEW: "Praise To You Alone"

Then through the dark, a blazing brightness
The son of God emerged victorious
And every curse was laid in piеces
As He arose, bеcame our healing

Our hope was lost. Dreams shattered. Remember the moment you felt you were falling into a deep, dark hole? Maybe you're feeling that way right now. Well I'm here to tell you that it's not over. Because out of the darkness comes a light and not just any light, but the most "blazing brightness" that has ever met the eyes. We have no need to fear. It's more than just a pretty saying or a plaque to hang on a wall. We truly don't have to worry, stress, fear, or experience anything else weighing us down because God has overcome it all. We were shattered and our hope was gone, but not for long. God is victorious and He is with you in every battle. There is always a better side because there is always Jesus and He is always working.
