Leeland joined the Integrity Music family last year and released their live worship album, Better Word on September 13, 2019, which went on to win The Encounter Award (Worship Album of the Year) at the 8th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards. Having inspired and facilitated the collective cries of musical worship in settings great and small across the world, founding member Leeland Mooring and Casey Moore have been afforded a unique front-row vantage point to observe how people's personal moments of praise shape their everyday perspectives about God, about others, and about themselves.
Today, we reflect on two of the biggest songs from their current album, Better Word, while looking back on a worship cover that related to audiences across the world.

NEW: "Way Maker"
Even when I don't see it, You're working
Even when I don't feel it, You're working
You never stop, You never stop working
There are so many times of uncertainty in life, where it just feels like God is not present and is not working. Those feelings have been multiplied many times over for so many during the first part of this year, which is one of the reasons this song has resonated with so many. The bridge is a claim that even when we can't see that God is working, we know He is. Faith is powerful weapon against anything we will find in the valleys. With over 27 million streams on Spotify and the video more than double that at 26 million, Leeland has recorded one of the most popular versions of this incredible worship song.
NEW: "Better Word"
It's singing out with life
It's shouting down the lies
It echoes through the night
The precious blood of Christ
Speaks a better word
The cross can conquer everything you are facing today. There is so much information coming at us from so many directions. It's increasingly getting harder to focus in and filter noise and distraction from the words that Jesus' blood gives. Those words are full of life, freedom, and comfort. Write down those words that the blood of Jesus Christ produces and meditate on those today.
CLASSIC: "Lion & The Lamb"
Our God is the Lion, the Lion of Judah
He's roaring with power and fighting our battles
And every knee will bow before You
Our God is the Lamb, the Lamb that was slain
God fights for us. More than we know. When we allow that truth to live in our lives, we rest easy knowing there are battles we just can't win. But He can! There are wars we have no chance in. But He can conquer! There are mountains we can't climb on our own. But with Him, all things are possible! Open up those gates, the King of Kings is here!
