Omega Replica Have you ever watched a music video and said, "Hey, I know who that is!" It could be an actor, or an actress, or another musician. You may be surprised to discover some names you know who have popped up throughout the years in Christian music videos!
Michael Tait in MercyMe's "I Can Only Imagine"
Before the hit movie, "I Can Only Imagine" was a big single. If you watch the music video closely, you can spot former dc Talk member, and current Newsboys frontman, Michael Tait in the video. Michael isn't the only cameo though! Former Audio Adrenaline member Bob Herdman and singer Tammy Trent also make an appearance.
Multiple Bands in TobyMac's "Feelin' So Fly"
TobyMac is one of the biggest selling Christian artists of this past decade. In the music video for 2013's "Feelin' So Fly," you will see a number of modern Christian bands including Thousand Foot Krutch, Building 429 and Family Force 5. This video will make you want to get up and dance like everyone in the video as well.
Blanca in The Wrecking's "About to Fall"
The Wrecking might not be a band that you are familiar with. They put out two albums before they broke up in 2012. In the time they were together, they also released a few videos, and in one of those, "About to Fall," former Group1Crew and singer Blanca appears.
Tony Hale in Switchfoot's "Awakenings"
Before he was everybody's favorite toy spork in Toy Story 4, Tony Hale starred in Switchfoot's "Awakenings" music video from their 2008 album Oh, Gravity. Jayma Mays makes an appearance in this music video as well. This video is great if you want to relax and have a good laugh.
Candace Cameron Bure in for KING & COUNTRY's "Joy"
You may know her as D.J. Tanner from the 90's sitcom Full House, but one of Candace's most recent appearances is in the for KING & COUNTRY's video for .joy. Candace portrays the news reporter in this fun music video. This song is featured on the band's Burn the Ships album and became an instant hit. This video will give you the quick energy boost you probably need right about now.
Variety in Newsboys UNITED's "Love One Another"
The last and newest entry on my list is found in the Newsboys UNITED's brand new video for "Love One Another." Unspoken's drummer, Ariel Munoz, Kevin Max, and American singer-songwriter Galen Crew are just a few of the cameos featured in this music video.
These are just some of the many cameos that you can catch in Christian music videos. Make sure to join our Facebook group NRT Christian Music Fandom to join our thread about many others in other videos. Thanks to all those that contributed!
