Like many artists these days, singer/songwriter only describes a fraction of what Jamie Grace does. The multi-faceted songstress has many roles that keep her busy from day to day, all projects of passion that she carries with grace and talent.
In honor of her brand new album '91, we wanted to make sure you're up to speed with all the incredible things Jamie does in addition to her music career. Check out the list below to learn more about the different sides of Jamie Grace.
Recording Artist
Unsurprisingly, most fans know Jamie because of her voice. The Dove Award-winning, GRAMMY and Billboard nominated singer/songwriter burst onto the Christian music scene in 2011 with her peppy hit "Hold Me" and became an instant fan favorite. Her debut album struck a chord with listeners upon release, followed by 2014's equally impactful Ready To Fly. In addition to her solo work, Jamie is also half of country duo Harper Still alongside her sister Morgan. Now following Grace's transition to independence, the songstress is finally getting to release her long-awaited project '91, an album that proves Jamie's time in music is nowhere near over.
YouTube / The Jamie Grace Show
If weren't already familiar with Jamie's music, chances are you found her through her popular YouTube channel where she's been sharing creative covers, collaborations and mash-ups for nearly a decade now. In addition to the music side of her YouTube channel (which is amazing enough on its own!), 2015 saw the introduction of The Jamie Grace Show. Ranging from a wide variation of topics and discussions, the weekly video (written, edited and produced by Jamie) has quickly become into a must-watch series. Further proving her dedication to this creative outlet, Jamie is a YouTube Silver Partner.
Podcast
A spin-off of The Jamie Grace Show that lives on iTunes, Jamie also hosts her own podcast: The Jamie Grace Show: Nothing & Something. With new episodes posted every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the podcast features "random rants, inspiring stories and deleted scenes" from the YouTube show. (Check out a recent episode here where Jamie had new Integrity Music artist Alisa Turner join her to talk about her battle with Lyme Disease for the #FighterFriday podcast.)
Actress
Jamie began acting at a young age through school and church programs, which led to her using the YouTube channel as a home for her sketches as well. The YouTube videos eventually landed Jamie a role in the 2013 film Grace Unplugged, and now it seems Jamie is returning to her acting skills yet again. In a recent message to fans, Team JG announced that Jamie is "doing life big again" as she "has been selected along with her sister Morgan to be part of an exciting adventure." Jamie is currently filming a project to be released in March of 2018, and while the name of the project isn't able to be announced at this time, it is at least clear that Jamie hasn't slowed down pursuing her acting career either.
ImAFighter.org
Last but definitely not least, Jamie is a proud advocate for fighters everywhere though her website imafighter.org. Inspired by her long-time struggle with Tourette Syndrome, the website functions as a community for fighters of all kinds to be encouraged as they share their stories and encourage others in the process. A bold voice of influence and information who has frequently talked openly about her battle with the illness since she was a teenager, Jamie has spoken at several events (including in front of Congress) on behalf of the National Tourette Syndrome Association. The website offers a place to share your story and connect with others, in addition to weekly videos and podcasts (#FighterFridays) that cover topics such as health and resilience.
