Depending on how long you've been listening to Christian music, either Robert Pierre's new album, Nothing Without You, is an introduction to a brand-new artist, or it's a welcomed return from a familiar voice in the industry.
Even if you've followed Pierre since he was a tweener, chances are there are some things you might not know about the singer-songwriter and church planter. Here are 10 facts to get to know Robert Pierre a tad better:
1. His first album, Inside Out, released when he was just 14 years old in 2006, and was produced by the renowned and Dove Award-winning Al Denson.
2. Until Nothing Without You, Pierre hadn't released an album since 2011's I'm All In, you know, the one where he looks like Elvis on the cover. A lot can happen in six years, especially when those six years span the time between being 19 and 25!
3. Pierre has been married for three years now to his wife, Nicole, and on August 2, 2017, they celebrated six years dating!
4. Though he had six years between albums, Pierre has been well occupied musically and ministry-wise, having been a part of two church plants in the Orlando area. Since January, he's been pastor over worship and youth ministries at Harvest Bible Chapel Winter Garden in the Orlando area, a church affiliated with Vertical Church Band's Harvest Bible Church, where his dad serves as Senior Pastor. He'll even preach every now and then on Sunday mornings.
5. As part of his work with the various churches of which he's been a part, Pierre produced and recorded an album in 2013, titled Harvest Live, a live worship record completely written and performed by members of his church.
6. How did Robert celebrate the release of his new project? He bought a puppy, which he calls "King Arthur of the Round Doggie Bowl."
7. When he was only 16 years old, Pierre gave away 100,000 copies of his second album, Identity, as a fundraiser for The James Fund, which was Family Christian Stores' non-profit organization that helped widows and orphans in the U.S. and abroad. In all, the effort raised more than $800,000.
8. Pierre is a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and Orlando Magic, and during their respective seasons, a lot of his social media posts reflect his hyperfocus on his team's successes and failures.

9. Back in 2014, Robert Pierre did the viral Ice Bucket Challenge, but instead of raising funds for ALS research, Pierre said he was getting chilled out "for Israel," raising funds to help a church in Israel give iPads to help the autistic children in their congregation.
10. Pierre's had some pretty big tours over the years. He followed up a stint on the road with The Rubyz and Luke Benward for the 2009 iShine Tour with a spot on Winter Jam 2010. As a high school junior, he was the youngest performer ever on Winter Jam at that time, and performed for more than 500,000 people in 44 cities.
