Captivated by God

Successful CEO and entrepreneur Tom Bradford knew he was Blessed to be a Blessing. He left his high paying finance job at a High-Tech firm in pursuit of discovering that, "something missing," and the fulfillment of the "There has got to be more," dream. In Tom's own words, "I have always been a goal driven person.  I actually prayed for 2 years for the Lord to show me a new passion in life. 'Retirement' was not something I could do. The Lord had given us a measure of financial independence, but I could not imagine a life without purpose and productivity. So as I waited, impatiently, for the Lord to move...One day when I least expected it, I guess you might say my prayers were answered."

Instead of turning in towards himself, he prayed, sought God and His counsel.  In turn, God captured his heart!   

Curious about the Hebrews of Yesterday

For some reason during that season, Tom was particularly fascinated with the people and story of the Hebrew Scriptures. Confused as to why so much of modern Christian teaching has ignored its Hebrew roots, he began to research, teach and pass on these catalytic insights. These discoveries can equip and enrich every believer's faith and life. Many of his impactful insights can be found on the Seeds of Abraham website or at Torah Class.

Compassionate towards the Hebrews of Today  

Tom's immersion in the Hebrew Scriptures opened his eyes to the struggle of the Christ-followers in Israel today. He discovered that "Many Jewish Christians in Israel have been forced to open small home businesses to try and generate income. Some produce arts and crafts for sale, but the marketplace for their products is quite limited in Israel. Once found out, that their products are from Jewish Christians, word spreads and they are forced to try something else. Jews who accept Jesus as their Savior are viewed as traitors to their Jewish heritage."

Many people don't understand the challenges that Christians living in Israel face today.  

God gave Tom a vision and the stamina to become a change agent. Embodying the concept of "Blessed to be a Blessing," Tom developed Holyland Marketplace in order to sell quality goods from Israel. This allows believers in Israel to support their families. Launched in 2004, they now sell over 2,000 products from Israel. Tom even pays for the warehouse storage so that the faithful in Israel can get as large of a return as possible.
