Group 1 Crew has returned with the highly anticipated new record, Power, and frontman Manwell Reyes isn't coming at fans solely with fresh music; he's releasing an unprecedented barrage of new music videos to illustrate the new songs.

Group 1 Crew has always been one of the most fun artists in Christian music, and the music video for "Power" does a great job displaying the energy and joy that the group is known for. What makes this video unique is that it is filmed in one continuous shot. When you consider the number of singers, dancers, and extras all acting and reacting to each other with perfect timing, the video is even more impressive. Major kudos to Manwell and the gang for putting out such an inventive video. It's a toe-tapping, head-bobbing good time.
PEOPLE OF A SECOND CHANCE
Along with their ability to make us smile, Group 1 Crew has also had the powerful capability to make us think. "People of a Second Chance" is the next addition to a long line of reflective songs from the #MindOfManny, tackling tough topics like human trafficking, missions, and God's unfailing grace. The video ends with a quote from Thomas Jefferson that sums up Group 1 Crew's mission for the song: "Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you."
I KNOW
"I Know" is easily my favorite song from Power and the music video did not disappoint. The video is a humorous look at the confidence that Christians can have knowing that God is always with them. Jor'dan Armstrong belts out the chorus: "I know that you're with me / See me riding / I ain't worried about nothing." The hero of the video is clearly having a great time and isn't phased by anything--seriously, just check out those dance moves! If you need a good laugh, this is the video for you.
BURN
It seems like just yesterday that Manny was singing to his future wife on 2010's Outta Space Love. Six years later he's back with "Burn," a song that unveils the desperate hardships that come with broken relationships. Featuring an appearance from 1GN's Lauryn Taylor Bach, "Burn" doesn't focus solely on the negativity, but instead chooses to concentrate on the life and redemption that comes after. As the video progresses, the visuals parallel the lyrics, ending in a symbolic fire "burning" away the guilt, shame, and fear, leaving only hope and love behind.
MONA LISA
Manwell is a rapper at heart, so it's nice to see him in his element on "Mona Lisa." The video itself is simplistic, shot mainly in a white room with only Manny, but the beat is hard and Manny's rhymes are fire (shout out for the Jimmy Neutron reference). More than any other music video, "Mona Lisa" explains who Group 1 Crew is and why the do what they do: "See, I don't know if this will even make my album / Cause this ain't CCM / This is love with a different outcome / This is too loud / They want me to turn it down some / But this is perfect volume for the streets to gather round some."
