I have several favorite ice creams that I enjoy. One of them is Talenti's Mediterranean Mint. In fact, if you haven't tried it before now, your homework is to go and get it ASAP. They make delicious flavors in pint sizes with (get this) a twist off top. I don't know why they have the twist off tops. Let's assume it's so you can eat a bite or two and then come back to it later. My problem is that I eat the whole thing in one sitting. I never use the container for its purpose.  
 
Sometimes I feel I miss the mark with my purpose, that I am not fulfilling what God has designed me to do. Do you feel that way? That the world has beat purpose out of you. Maybe you feel that you are numb to God using you for anything.  

I assume David the Psalmist felt that way during his lifetime of successes measured with failures. However, he wrote in Psalm 107:

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!  His faithful love endures forever.  Has the Lord redeemed you?  Then speak out!  Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies."

In other words, get up. God has designed you for a purpose to create change in your world. David asks the question, rhetorically I might add, "Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out!" Seek and pray for your purpose. Maybe you were called to share the gospel with you coworkers through being kind. Perhaps you were designed to be the best parent or spouse your family has seen. Whatever it is... speak out!
