7 Vineyard Worship Songs That Shaped Modern Worship
Lead contributor Kevin Davis lists seven of the songs from the Vineyard Music movement that have shaped modern worship around the world.
The newest Vineyard Worship album release, Anchour Studio Sessions, is a collection of songs from the music ministry described as "from the church, for the church." Since its beginning, Vineyard Music has existed as a voice of the Vineyard movement in worship.
Thinking about the influence of Vineyard Worship, I thought of these seven songs which have been sung by churches worldwide and have influenced today's modern worship songs as heard in the latest releases by Jesus Culture, Bethel Music, Elevation Worship, Vertical Church Band, Passion Worship and many more. Enjoy these videos of 7 songs that in my opinion have shaped modern worship. All of these songs lead me to the Throne Room of Grace and are a blessing to the Church.
1. "Hungry (Falling on my Knees)" by Kathryn Scott
2. "Draw Me Close" as performed by Michael W. Smith
3. "I Want to Know You (In the Secret)" as performed by SONICFlood
4. "Lord Reign in Me" by Brenton Brown.
5. "Breathe" as performed by Rebecca St. James
6. "Sweetly Broken" by Jeremy Riddle
7. "More Love, More Power" as performed by Jeff Deyo
