These Hearts For me, screamo music feels standoff-ish and uninviting. It seems more like a teen rebellion/teen rage thing going on rather than worshipping God. I'm not a fan of screamo so obviously my rating...

I went on over to YouTube to listen to this album and I could only listen to two songs ("Not So Average" and "Girl, What You Lookin At?!")
But those two songs, rock! This is another artist that I can add to my list of top artists. Now when one of my Christian friends tries to defend Katy Perry or Ke$ha, I have yet another Christian artist that I can recommend for them to listen to.

For me, screamo music feels standoff-ish and uninviting. It seems more like a teen rebellion/teen rage thing going on rather than worshipping God. I'm not a fan of screamo so obviously my rating is going to be low, but don't take my word for it because you may find that you like them!

He's definitely up there with Lecrae, Flame, Trip Lee, Tedashaii, etc. He has that harsh sound (much like Tedashaii) that most wordly rappers have. I am more of a fan of the less harsh hip hop/rap singers like Lecrae and Trip Lee, but I still enjoy listening to the harsher-sounding songs when I want to jam out.

I recently listened to this single for the first time, and it has a fairytale kind of feel. I heard this one song once where the girl did everything, from singing main and accompaning to background music... that's what this reminds me of. it has a real "floating on the clouds" sort of feel.

The first time I ever listened to Robert Pierre was when we purchased his first CD (from when he was little). At the time (you know, when he sounded like a girl) I wasn't a huge fan of his music, but now that his voice has matured, his music has as well.
He is a great example to all about standing out in your faith, no matter what your age is.
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." -1 Timothy 4:12
While searching YouTube, I had a hard time actually finding the songs from this album. But the two songs I did find, were good. Even though I only heard two, I would still recommend this CD. It's like reading the first chapter of a book... if you like it and recommend it to someone, then that is a good preview to the book. In this case, it is a good preview to the album. If I have only listened to two songs, yet I feel that it is good enough to recommend based on those two songs, then wait until you hear the rest of the CD (I know I can't!)

No matter what though, my favorite song so far by Robert Pierre is "Jesus" (not on this album)
God uses them... | Posted July-21-2011
Any group that is able to move a crowd, is worth listening to. And by watching the video that they had under their description, I could tell by the tears and smiling faces in the crowd that these guys have a gift given to them by God.
God uses people like Planet Shakers to move people to do great things!
This group has great music that is good for contemporary likings (like for church service) and live concerts.

Whether you are reading the Bible story, entranced by this love story, or watching the Veggie Tales episode based upon it, Esther is a true role model to young women of courage and obeying God's plans for our lives.
Looking at the cover of this book... I wasn't really interested. But when I glanced a little closer and saw that it was about Esther, I opened up to it a little more. And once I read the description, I was completely interested.
When I get the chance, I am definitely reading this book and you should, too!
Great sound | Posted July-21-2011
This CD is a lot of fun. It has great lyrics, great meanings, and has great beats. Although hyms have good meaning and lyrics, they don't have the beat and the fun.
Although we need to have respect for God as He is the Creator and our Father, He also wants us to talk to Him like He's our best friend. Even though He sees everything, He still wants to hear it from us! We should want a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
After watching some of that, I listened to some of the songs on this album. I like the "true" sound. What I mean by that is being able to actually hear the tiny glitches in their voices, their breathing, the vulnerability in their voices as they sing... it's not edited, it's true.
Fresh Review | Posted July-21-2011
This right here is a "fresh review" meaning that I am currently listening to this album as I review its contents. I am already a fan of Lecrae and the rest of the guys in 116 Clique (like Trip Lee and Tedashii) but this guy falls short to my expectations. When his bio on artist of the month said something about for fans of Lecrae, that excited me, but that didn't last for long.
I have listened to snippets of all the songs on the album, and none of them truly stood out to me.
