so i was super excited for this release! and hawk nelson did not let me down! with this new album, they went back to their punky roots with songs like "tally-ho" and "lax." at the same time, however, they showed a lot of spiritual maturity, without coming across corny. i got to see them at an acoustic cd release party for this album, where they talked about each song, and their motives behind these songs are soo genuine. as far as the acoustic cd, "the light sides," wow. it's amazing. i cannot stop listening to it. i love how they re-recorded and remixed them just enough to give them a fresh sound but keep the original song in tact. thumbs up to hawk nelson! :D

after hearing esterlyn play live on the "welcome to the family tour" i knew i loved them. luke caldwell's vocals are contagious! the songs sometimes get a bit annoying with a lot of added falsetto, but it is definitely a cd that you will love!

wow!! with this new release, esterlyn has shown soo much improvement it literally blew me away! i had this cd playing and my mom thought it was switchfoot it was that good. luke's vocals have improved tremendously, and the band has learned how to play together in more unity. way to go!

i absolutely love this release from esterlyn! from the first time i heard them play "esther" live i loved them. this ep is so beautiful, so meaningful, and one that you will definitely love! :)

when i first picked up this album, i was kinda disturbed by the cover...but once i stuck it in my cd player...WOW!! these boys are incredible!! :D i love the lyrics, and the mix between screaming and singing is just perfect. this has quickly become one of my fave albums of all time, and i can't wait to hear more from the boys in write this down.

wow. that's all i can say. upon hearing this album, i was simply blown away! not only are lead singer matt hammit's vocals absolutely amazing, the lyrics! the lyrics are so honest and transparent yet so deep it's incredible! this cd challenges people to think about their lives while at the same time ending each song with the hope of Jesus. so many christian rock bands have strayed from the Truth...sanctus real is firm in their faith and not about to change it! this album is a must-buy...it's incredible and so is the band. :)

crazy beautiful. wow. the first time i heard that song i knew i loved this band. with their awesome writing, awesome vocals, and awesome hearts for God, chasen has got it made! check these guys and this album out! :)

the song "on and on" is absolutely amazing, as well as everything else chasen does. check this out - you will NOT be disappointed! they have a heart to serve God and amazing music!

although it's not their newest album, i absolutely LOVE this release by sanctus real. i love their music, vocals, and lyrics, all of which make for an amazing band! :D

not the greatest sanctus real album ever but it's still one of my faves. "i'm not alright" has vocals that just leaves you in awe (esp if you see it performed at a live show!). this is still a great album though. :)
