This summer, Esterlyn will release their highly anticipated debut album with VSR Music Group/EMI CMG Distribution aptly titled Call Out. Over the past three years, consistent touring and fan loyalty has gained Esterlyn considerable momentum in the CCM market. The independent release of “Lamps” sold over 20,000 units without any major distribution, and they continued to garner critical and popular acclaim performing at Aquire the Fire events nationwide, as well as opening for national acts such as Kutless and Fireflight.
Driven by this call and convicted by the love of an ever gracious Savior, Esterlyn sings impassioned worship songs such as the title track “Call Out”, with an Indie-rock flare similar to that of Tenth Avenue North and mainstream artists such as OneRepublic and The Fray. Their music refreshes the soul and exalts a God worthy to be praised. Esterlyn’s addictive melodies combined with sensitive and reflective lyrics create a mature sound that will challenge you to ponder the various ways in which a Creator and His Creation reach out to each other and “Call Out.”

VSR’s Esterlyn releases their first effort for the label with Call Out. The title track, “Call Out,” sets the tone for what is to follow- an album of sincere songs springing from the influence of the current modern worship musical landscape. Simple, layered, ear-catching melodies serve as reinforcement for lead singer Luke Caldwell‘s clarion call to focus and praise.
This collection of songs is astutely written, musically upbeat and avoids any hint at pretension. If Fee, Gungor, Jason Morant, Robbie Seay Band and The Glorious Unseen’s interpretation of God-focused adulation appeals to your mode of musical worship, Esterlyn’s accomplishments on Call Out will fit in nicely.
Esterlyn's Greatest project yet!| Posted July 27, 2010
Esterlyn's newest project “Call Out” is their best work yet! With great vocals that remind us of Switchfoot and Needtobreathe, and great song writing, this album does not disappoint!
While the band leaves their contemporary sound for praise and worship, they stay true to their signature style and sound.
Their title song “Call out” is a reminder to believers to call out to God in times of need; a good message in these uncertain times. Also this song sets the mood of praise and worship for the rest of the album.
“Can’t Miss This” is a song of uncertainty. We walk the road of life and search for our purpose and the meaning of life and think we see signs of God’s purpose for us, but were never sure, so we just have to listen and trust God.
“Now You’re Found” and “Esther” are alter calls, and reminders that no matter what’s going on in your life, whether you're lost, hurting, all alone, left in darkness, in doubt or shame, come lay your burdens down and rest in his arms and he will take your burdens away.
“Freedom Is Here” is a song of our redemption and of the joy and freedom we have as believers!
“"El Shaddai”, “The Lord is Good”, and “Treasure” are songs of praise, giving God the glory and giving him our lives.
While this album may not be on the top of your list to listen to, it should not be over looked.
Esterlyn brings their unique style and sound to this album, along with great song writing, making it a great cd to have in any collection!
Great CD...wish there was more songs| Posted July 15, 2010
These guys are so good. I really liked the debut CD and the EP even more. They just got even better with this new CD. The songs are so full of emotion and are perfect to listen to while sipping coffee. The only thing I would have to complain about this CD is there is not enough songs. These guys are so good and I wish they would continue to record because of how good they are.

Surprisingly worshipful| Posted July 16, 2010
I had no idea who these guys were ... but from the first pluck of a string, I had a feeling I would like them. They sound like a mix between Jon Foreman on his Seasons EPs, a little Tenth Avenue North ... and some early Steve Fee before they were Fee ... all of whom I love!
Very ... worshipful. 1/4 of the way through the album and suddenly you find your heart and mind being drawn to the attributes of God's character. You are taken heavenward ... and its simply beautiful. They closed the album beautifully with Esther :)
