Every year I dread Christmas music as the same old same old. While the Newsboys don't exactly provide new music for us to listen to, Tait's vocals provide a nice alternative to the less-than-pleasant sound I am used to hearing on secular radio. It's a fairly stellar EP that die hard Christmas fans should pick up.

I've been a fan of Esterlyn since the beginning of the formation, and their new album does not disappoint. This is definitely a band that will be around for a while.

After a long wait following the departure of the great Peter Furler, we now get a good look at the direction the Newsboys are now headed with Michael Tait and their new sound. So far, I'm lovin' it! I have been a fan of Tait since he sung with DC Talk, and the Newboys have altered their style just enough to sound great with him, while not losing their awesome ability to create music. Born Again is definitely a must have for any Christian rock fan.

Some of their music is a little rough in spots, but that is to be expected with every new band. Give them a couple of years with a little nourishing from more experienced bands and producers, and this band will go far.

While Hawkology does not provide any new songs, it successfully combines what I consider to be Hawk Nelson's three finest album into one. A definite must have for any Hawk fan.

RSB's new album is a great followup to their previous release, "Give Yourself Away." Robbie Seay's unique voice continues to rise on my list, and it is shown off quite well in the new album.

Iluminate's first album is far from stellar. While they show some promise, they still have a long way to go. Overall, I would pass on buying this album.
