Great new artist, top 10 of 2007! | Posted June-16-2008
"Amazing worship CD. The songs "Stand In Awe" and "Sweetly Broken" are very worshipful and catchy. "God of All Glory", "Full Attention", "Call To Praise" and "What Joy Is Found" are my other favorites. Jeremy is another candidate for best new artist in my opinion."

Great new artist, top 10 of 2007! | Posted June-16-2008
"You've probably heard "Undo" and it's a great song, but the rest of the CD is just as good. Other highlights for me are "When Our Hearts Sing", "Jesus Hurry", "Peace Be Still", "Your Love" and "We All". Toss up between Rush of Fools and Jackson Waters for best new Christian artist of 2007."

Fantastic, Eloquent, Amazing! | Posted July-24-2007
This is another CD that blew me away in 2006. I liked "Everything About You" from "Fight The Tide" so I picked up "The Face of Love" when it came out and I like the CD even more after listening to it for the past year than when it came out. "Face of Love", "Fly", "Don't Give Up" and "Eloquent" are standout tracks and you won't be disappointed in the heartfelt lyrics and stellar vocals of Matt Hammitt.

Landmark Lifehouse Release! | Posted July-24-2007
I'll admit that I got hooked by "Hanging By A Moment" like the rest of us in 2000. In some ways it seems like the band is so defined by that song that some don't really give a full appraisal of their body of work. As much as I enjoyed the first 3 releases, in my opinion "Who We Are" is the landmark Lifehouse release. It has standout songs like "First Time" and "Broken" however just like the other releases which have each gotten better, this is their best overall.

Another vote of approval | Posted July-20-2007
I'm with Bill on this one. I don't understand the comment about Todd Agnew not having evolved. If you own the CD, give it another listen and really focus in on the messages. This is Todd's most challenging release. If you liked "My Jesus" from his last CD, you'll love this CD. The standout songs are "Our Great God", "Lovers in our Heads", "Martyr's Song" and "On A Corner in Memphis". Very few releases have this level of bare honesty and self-reflection. Top 10 of 2007 in my opinion.

Possibly Best Christian CD Ever! | Posted July-13-2007
There are a few landmark CD's in Christian music history (Jesus Freak-dc Talk, Jars of Clay-Jars of Clay) and I think this CD is in that same category. I've seen Casting Crowns live twice as well which really helps bring out the amazing energy in these songs. I never get tired of "Who Am I", "Voice of Truth", "Here I Go Again" and one of my favorite songs is "What If His People Prayed". If you only buy CD's that have several hits on them, then this is the CD for you.

Amazing CD! | Posted July-16-2007
I am totally with Miss Bookworm on this CD. Adie has such a beautiful voice and she really shines on songs like "Sufficient" and "What Have I Done". The more I listen to this CD, the more I like it and the songs "When It's Over" and "Your Way" are also standout tracks. Mrs. Jeremy Camp may have put out one of the top 10 CD's of 2006, rivaling "Beyond Measure" in my opinion.

Amazing album, top 10 of 2007! | Posted July-06-2007
I love the Future of Forestry Twilight CD. The song "All I Want" is a standout track and I listen to it all the time. The lyrics "I will go where mercy meets the shame, I will go where strength will find the small and meek" are so worshipful and also reflective and challenging. Former Something Like Silas lead singer Eric Owyoung really brings out some amazing emotional rock (emo) themes like loneliness, divorce and coming out of darkness with songs like "Open Wide" and "Speak to me Gently". This is definitely a top 10 of 2007 release in my opinion and the CD gets better with each listen which is just awesome!

Best Live Christian CD Ever!! | Posted July-26-2007
Whether or not you've had the privilege to see and hear Shaun Groves live in concert, this CD is as close as you can get to the actual experience. I collect lots of music and don't always like the live versions of songs, but this CD is the exception. You get to hear all of Shaun Groves' best songs including "Welcome Home", "Should I Tell Them" and an amazing version of the song "Here I Am" which includes Shaun giving a message based on Isaiah 6.
You can pick this CD up only at shaungroves.com for just $10 for 17 tracks!! I highly recommend this release and now that Shaun is an independent artist, you get to support his efforts while he is working on brand new material. Stay tuned for more from the Dove award nominated Songwriter of the year and Best New Artist (2002).

White Flag Underappreciated & Great | Posted July-26-2007
While this CD is not "Invitation to Eavesdrop" or "Twilight", this CD deserves 5 stars because of its unique sound and theme. Based on the Sermon on the Mount, the songs give a modern-day take on timeless themes. The standout songs are "Only", "Hummingbird", "What's Wrong With This World" and "Amen". If you are a fan of Shaun Groves you will not be disappointed with the new more modern "rock" sound. If you thought his first 2 CD's were too mellow, then give this CD a try and you'll like it.
