Me like! | Posted July-18-2009
"Home" "What About Now" "Crashed" and "All These Lives" are my favorites from this CD. He's got a great voice and I like how the band switches from quiet to noisy music and aces both kinds! Looking forward to his next one for a Christmas gift! (and this one; library borrowed)

More awesomeness | Posted July-13-2009
"I Believe" is a nice song. "More To Life" "All I Need" and "Never Alone" were great too. But I would've liked more rock too. "Show You Love" I liked also. I can't speak to who should've been on here and who should've been left off because i didn't listen to a lot of Christian music back then.

Great collection | Posted July-13-2009
I was over the moon when I saw "Who Am I" on this CD. One of my all time favorite songs. Matthew West's "More" is a nice addition, and Selah's "You Raise Me Up" actually includes the second verse Josh Groban left out! :) Chris Rice's song nearly had me in tears. Caedmon's Call's song "There's Only One (Holy One)" has their great lyrics. A nice set of songs.

Beautiful...and this when I'm hardly paying attention! | Posted July-20-2009
I can't believe I'm the first person to review this. I'm even more....what's the word?....ashamed?.....to admit that I was using it as background music while I worked on something else. But from what I can hear, it's a decent collection of songs. I liked "Since the World Began" "Rejoice In the Lord" and "Wake Up, Oh Sleeper" the best.

Some of these are just amazing!!! | Posted July-10-2009
Nichole Nordeman's version of "Just As I Am" with added lyrics was spectacular. Jeremy Camp did an awesome job with "Wonderful Maker". Bart Millard's singing of "The Old Rugged Cross" was great too. You'll like most if not all the songs on this CD.

Just by reading the lyrics only, I can see most of the songs appear to be about love. I wonder what they sound like. His writing has changed since this CD, in my opinion. I like the cover art, too.

About the art | Posted July-06-2009
Whoever designed the booklet is creative. Putting his name on cat food and a candy bar, having Matthew sitting in a grocery cart; it's different. And I liked the way each song was a different receipt.

First 3 songs I've heard. | Posted July-06-2009
"History"- has an awesome message. Our sins are in the past
"Next Thing You Know"- his testimony in song. That's a cool way to tell it. Not very universal though (personal) but works.
"Only Grace"-great song! More about the theme of "History"
I wish I could hear the rest of this album.

Erm.....okay???? | Posted July-06-2009
I've only heard "More" and it was a great song, but the cover art? Where are these people sitting in, a bathroom stall? I'm not sure what the picture has to do with the title either. Who's happy to be hidden?

Awesome! (heard on Youtube) | Posted July-06-2009
This song is great!!! It's beautiful. Matthew sounds like he really means it. You've so got to hear this. Certainly lives up to its billing. I wonder how many weddings it's been sung at already?
