No More Hurting People - Single by Marc No More Hurting People - Single by Marc

The music video for this song features images from Boston and other tragedies. It's kind of a pop song but still hopeful and pleading for peace, knowing it will happen someday when Christ returns. Check...

I have to say, it was quite a bit of creative thinking that resolves this one. It was lovely seeing the other O'Connors again.  Julie Lessman writes well. However, it's not for everyone - if you skip...

This is the second man-on-death-row-is-he-innocent? book I've read recently. (The other was Randy Singer's "The Last Plea Bargain") I thought this was well-written, but sad too. There's two twists...

One of the best WOW hits ever! | Posted July-04-2009
I'm so glad they have lots of rock songs. I never knew I had such a taste for rock before. I also love "Call My Name" and "In Better Hands" (I've memorized the latter and love singing along with it.) A truly awesome compilation!

Awesome songs!! | Posted July-04-2009
This is a great selection of songs! I found so many new artists to love off this CD. I can't speak on whether the songs were the best the artist put out in that time period, but I love all of them for some reason, except maybe "Atmosphere" (hardly listened to that one)

Cool | Posted July-04-2009
I liked all the tracks except 9 and 16. "Brave", "Voice of Truth", and "Holy is The Lord" were already favorites of mine before I got this CD. I love reading the artist's story behind the song notes in the booklets.

Not bad | Posted July-04-2009
Some of these songs I've never heard before. I really liked "I'd Rather Have Jesus" and "I Need Thee Every Hour". If you're a country fan, this'd be a good CD to pick up.

Here's the deal... | Posted June-29-2009
I like tracks 2,3, 7, 10, 11, and moderately 1. By 15 and 16 I just skipped them cuz they were pretty bad. I borrowed this CD once before but couldn't remember I had.

Great compilation! | Posted June-27-2009
Underoath's was just about the only one I didn't like. I like more singing than screaming in songs. If it's all screamed, with a little singing....ech. I could barely hear the words. Everything else was pretty good though. :)

I like this band a lot now | Posted June-26-2009
"Dare You To Move" has an interesting chorus sound to it. "On Fire" and "Meant To Live" were great too. "Adding To The Noise" probably doesn't get a lot of concert plays cuz how can you turn them off? Though it would be funny if the audience put on earplugs mid-song as a surprise to the band.

A good album | Posted June-24-2009
I liked "Identity" "No Way Around A River" "Still Going Through" and "Looking Like Love", but like the previous reviewers, I'm sorry he didn't write anything for this project. It was a good CD though.

Awesome CD | Posted June-22-2009
I had "Two Hands" chorus in my head recently before Philmont's "The Difference" replaced it. This CD was great. My favorites were "Two Hands" "Scenic Route" and "Forgive Me". As a writer I can appreciate the lyrics by themselves too. "The Long Fall" -curious choice for a beginning- mostly instrumental. "Heart"- why the long closing? As for the two tracks with Katie Herzig, she added almost nothing to the songs. It would've been more interesting to have more involvement. "Mirrors and Smoke" from Good Monsters was a much better example of having a female guest artist.

Loved the cubes on the booklet

Kinda okay | Posted June-20-2009
I recognized "I'm Waiting" from my local station, but never knew who sang it. I liked that song and "I Am Winter" but some of the other songs on the CD were hard to listen to. It may be an acquired taste so I'll keep the CD for a while. (got this from NRT points too)
