One of the best | Posted August-08-2013
This is one of my favourite albums. It is a collection of all the best Hillsong United songs - a great album for those who don't know Hillsong United. Another of United's well recorded live albums. Again, a good mix of worship and praise songs. There will be a song for everyone on this two-disk album.

Great album | Posted August-08-2013
It is nice to hear the Aftermath songs Live; it gives them a completely different sound. The Freedom Is Here/Shout Unto God medley - wow - what a great combination. Not terribly fussed on the use of the megaphone in Take It All. Apart from that there is great energy mixed with slow devotional heart songs

It's okay | Posted August-08-2013
This album is good but personally, I don't like this album as much as the previous albums from Hillsong United. It seems their sound is becoming more mainstream now. That being said, Oceans is a fantastic song both lyrically and musically.

Great book | Posted July-02-2013
This is a great book and an easy read!
I love how he challenges almost everything in this book. He really takes Christianity to the extreme and if you take the advice on you could be a radical servant of God that does big things for the Kingdom. This man is on to it.

Powerful | Posted July-01-2013
There are some really fantastic songs on this album. To God Alone, Forevermore and Take Over and Rest In The Arms were songs that helped me come to know God personally. These songs are powerful.
This is definitely one of Aaron Shust's best albums

Whispered And Shouted | Posted July-01-2013
This album is good but not as good as some of his others.
There is quite a variety of styles that can been seen across this album. The lyrics are good, Shust really captures the idea that God persues us - a feature that isnt covered by many artists.

Oldie but a goodie | Posted July-01-2013
This is one of their older albums but I have to say, it is definitely one of their better albums! Also, it is good to see the original version of Mercedes Baby on this album, the slowed version just isnt as good.

A Roadtrip must | Posted July-01-2013
This is my youth group's road trip album. Such good driving music. The fast tempo and catchy lyrics, the drums alone rate a mention.
Elevator and Love Is For The Middle Class are our two favourites. They go on repeat for a few times before we actually listen to the album.
It is nice to see this band putting out some worship songs as well - showing their diversity and faith. Constant is played on Life FM (New Zealand radio) Worship stream. Having worship like this makes it more appealing to wider audiences which is cool because God is for everyone.

Put this on repeat | Posted July-01-2013
This song is awesome. It makes the album and I'm so glad they released it as the first single of the Cold Hard Want album.
I love how this band can change up the tempo so dramatically in the bridge. This song is a perfect example of this.

One of their best | Posted July-01-2013
I was hesitant when first listening to this album. The first song I heard was Our God Is Coming. I thought it was very electronic with too much reverb. Upon second and third listening however the catchiness of the song got to me.
The song transitions are brilliant, no rough cuts as sometimes happens with live albums - not knowing where one song ends and another starts so you get offcuts at the beginning and end of songs. This was not the case with this album. Furthermore, there is a good proportion of upbeat praise songs to slower worship songs. It is also nice that they slowly transition into the slower songs, instead of mixing up the tempo of the album as a whole, by dotting praise songs in between the worship ones.
This album really shows the character of God. All too often, we get caught up in the music but Centre Of It All brings a powerful combination of both music and lyrics to usher people into the presence of God.
