Go Get It by Mary Mary Go Get It by Mary Mary
After listening to this album, I realized it is essentially composed of songs Mary Mary has previous released but the versions here appear to have a different mix. The first part of the album left me a...
For You From You by Dan For You From You by Dan
This release is very worshipful throughout and entirely focused on God and our response to and wonder of Him. Dan has a unique voice that is pleasant to listen to, and the lyrics for this album are very...
The Listening EP by Dan The Listening EP by Dan
A short EP of works from Dan featuring 3 songs in total with the 4th track being a radio edit. I honestly didn't feel that any of the songs on this release really grabbed me or made me want to re-listen...

When I first saw the bands name I thougth for sure the musical style was going to be more something in the country music genre. I would classify this release more in the rock genre overall and was Christ focused throughout. My favorite track on the release was "Made to Shine".

We Once Were | Posted October-26-2011
The first thing that struck me when I initially listened to this release was that it was produced differently than past releases. The instrumentation (especially the guitars) seems stronger and more up front in the mix. The guitars seem grittier and edgier. In many ways this release reminded me of Switchfoot in many ways. I think this is a great album and a sound that the band seems to work within very well.

Holiday Trio - EP | Posted October-26-2011
This is an interesting release, featuring 2 songs from the bands debut album mixed with a Christmas track. I don't know much about the history of this release, but since it contains two of the stronger songs off their initial album and was released in 2007 as well, was probably sent out to promote the band and included a bonus Christmas track. From what I can see this is the only place this Christmas song was released on CD, although it does appear to be available for purchase as an MP3 as well, which will most likely be of interest to anyone looking to get a complete catalog of the band.

Wonder Of The World | Posted October-26-2011

Overall I felt this was a solid release, but did not catch me as much as their initial release. My favorite songs are "Wonder of the World", "Holy One" and "Tonight". In many ways I think this is an album that I just need to listen to a little more as there are some really strong songs presented here but it just needs to grow on me a little more.

Rush of Fools | Posted October-26-2011
A solid release from Rush of Fools. At this point I have become so famiiiar with the songs that it's hard to remember how many of these were released and became successful singles at Christian radio. Christ centered throughout, I really enjoyed this album and enjoy having it as part of my collection.

Introducing The City Harmonic | Posted October-26-2011
A much quieter and simpler sound then is featured on their next release "I Have a Dream". The songs on this release are very well crafted and engaging, featuring a very raw coffee shop type of presentation overall. It's great to have good Christian music in a variety of musical styles.

I Have A Dream (It Feels Like Home) | Posted October-26-2011
I enjoyed listening to this release this week from 'The City Harmonic'. It's great to have God honoring music in various styles and this album definitely fills that need. With a fresh modern sound, I'm sure this release will do well for the band. My favorite tracks were #6 "Wake me Up" and "Manifesto".

Gospo-Fella Entertainment Presents The Countdown | Posted October-26-2011
I enjoyed listening to this release. It was great to become familiar with some new artists and I found a song that I not only really like but that I think my teenage girls will really enjoy ..."Constantly" I wish there were more sampler releases like this that introduced new artists in different musical styles.

As Long As You're Glorified | Posted September-30-2011
I enjoyed the opportunity to listen to this release and felt that the lyrics were very strong and very honoring to Christ. Unfortunately I didn't feel that I really connected with the album overall. I don't consider this a default of the album but just figure it's just not something I personally would probably purchase. I pray that God will continue to use this band for His glory.

We are Leo | Posted September-30-2011
I found this release refreshing in many ways as it seemed to feature a style that I don't hear a whole lot of on the Christian Music radio station that plays where we live. My favorite track on this release was "I'm With You".
