This release struck me in it's musical variety (compared to many of Sara's later releases). There are songs that feature Sara's signature reflective songwriter sound, but this releases also touches on some R&B/hip-hop beats, light country overtones and some light rock. As always this release is top notch in the songwriting, musical performances and production.

Live From Messiah College (Digital EP) | Posted October-26-2011
A relatively short collection of songs released on an EP in late 2005. Although not very long in duration, the tracks presented here are nonetheless engaging and moving, featuring a very small ensemble including Sara, a piano and another background singer. This would be a great release for anyone who loves Sara's music, even though it can be difficult to find.

A great collection of songs that focus on hope in the midst of suffering and the effects of a fallen world. Sara's music is thought-provoking, moving and this release offers a bit more variety in musical tempo then many of her later releases.

A great Christmas release from Sara that is worshipful and succeeds in bringing listeners to point of reflection and introspection into the majesty and gift of Christ coming to earth to die for sinful mankind. This is a wonderful release in a genre of holiday music that at times can miss the need to be still and quiet, containing a good mixture of original songs and classic holiday songs that will be familiar to most.

I have enjoyed listening to this release over the years and have found it to be thought provoking, worshipful and enjoyable throughout. I think my favorite song from this release is "Fireflies and Songs", although they are all good.

Amazing! I loved listening to this album this week on NRT. Sara has released another magnificent album of engaging and thought provoking songs. Sara sticks close to the trademark sound that has marked her earlier releases and the musicianship on this release is top notch throughout. A must for fans and anyone who enjoys good Christian music that challenges you to think about and reflect on things more deeply.

A difficult to find Christmas EP from The Sonflowers released for the winter season 2009. A short but great collection of holiday songs for fans of this group, presented in their signature style, this is a great album for any fans.

The groups second album released in the fall fo 2004 finds the members continuing in much the same sound as their initial release. Featuring a strong focus on Christ, worshipful lyrics and a light rock sound, it's great to go back and remember this step in the band and their ministry.

The band's initial release from 2003 shows a good assortment of variety. Christ focused from the beginning to the end, it's great to hear how it all started for this group in a ministry that has touched many over the years.
