Roy Tosh feat. Eris Ford - "Gotta Wait"
RMG Amplify's Roy Tosh releases his third single of 2021. It's a catchy, lil' bop speaking to God's perfect timing regardless of the season of life someone experiences. The track also takes from the concept explained in Ecclesiastes 3:1 related to seasons of time for every activity. High hats dominate the soundscape driving the energy of the track behind Tosh's playful rhyme schemes and Eris Ford's booming melodies on the hook. Listen to "Gotta Wait" on Spotify here.
Danielle Apicella - "Fly"
Reflection Music Group's (RMG) lone female artist returns with her second single of 2021. The concept of the track is overcoming personal fears which hold us back from enjoying life to the fullest. The vibrant saxophone and rim shot tones begin the song with a jazzy feel. The more listeners become accustomed to Apicella's meaty harmonies and talented vocal runs, one can easily pinpoint her range of sound bouncing between genres and styles. The content of the single is quite relatable, as most struggle with a hesitancy to follow God's calling and purpose for our life. Listen to "Fly" on Spotify here.
Dru Bex feat. Eshon Burgundy - "Diaspora"
Independent artists Dru Bex and Eshon Burgundy lace a conversation starter with intentional content and ear-pleasing sonics with the new single, Bex's first of 2021. The term diaspora is defined as the mass dispersion of indigenous people from their land. With this example, Africans from Africa. Bex provides a historic look back on his own origin and roots while paying homage to the homeland of Africa. Philly's finest Burgundy joins him with some lyrical fire of his own. "I love the Good News, letters from Apostles always puts me in a good mood. Spirit of the Son of Man in me, that's a good tool." Bex's goal is unity as opposed to the constant division people experience. Listen to "Diaspora" on Spotify here.
