VIVE Worship is the worship team for VIVE Church in San Francisco, California. Their mission is to write and record songs that are full of faith and bold in their declaration of Jesus. The group is made of many unique musicians, all sharing a passion for the Lord. Their album Yes and Amen recently dropped on June 25th and we feature the title track off that record below.

For me it's yes and amen
I love the song's beautiful message. The lyrics present a reminder that when God says amen (something we don't often think about), amazing things happen. Amen means "so be it." Try replacing the "amen" with "so be it" in these lyrics and see what you get from it. "So be it" is a declaration of surrender, a subject I didn't originally realize this song represented. However, now that I do, I think it is the most fitting proclamation for this captured moment of worship.

The joy encapsulated in this video is so unique, I felt especially led to feature it as a portrait of VIVE Worship's character. Psalm 85:6 states, "Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?" God answers this plea again and again in the Bible as well as in our lives. The best part of it all is that He answers with a yes. Yes, He will reign down and bring heaven to Earth. And though we don't know when that incredible day will be, we can still dance in freedom because of His ultimate sacrifice. The day of revival is coming soon; the hope we've been waiting for will be upon us. If that's not a reason to get excited, I don't know what is.
