VOUS Worship is a diverse group of singers and songwriters who have joined together in a quest to praise Jesus with all their might. They share a common passion for God and seeing His kingdom reign on Earth. They represent VOUS Church, based in Miami, Florida. Their mission is "to go into the night carrying the message of Jesus and to bring the broken home.

The soft voices echoing this cry is heart-warming. It is a sweet anthem of praise from the very depths of the church. As a collective being, the singers join together to ask God for a new outpouring of His fire. The bridge in this song reminds me of how limited our view is as humans. Like an iceberg barely sticking out of the water, we often only see a miniscule part of the big picture. The big, old part under the water that we fail to notice is God's plan. We may not see it, but it's certainly there; we must surrender our life to the Creator to let Him guide us through that plan. Our limited viewpoint may convince us that a quick fight is better, but action without God is just rushing into a battle that's already been won. To choose the better option and allow peace to reign, we need revival.

This song reminded me that worship doesn't have to be elaborate. All God wants is us and all we need is Him. Recognizing that relationship is the true essence of praise. Hearing His voice is an amazing bonus we also get to participate in. Whatever is burdening you right now, I want you to know it is not the end. Look around the mountain to the mountain mover. He is listening and He sees you. It's this hope that is the only true sustenance capable of withstanding life's heavy weight.
