The Church Will Sing provides a unique perspective on worship music. Created by Word Worship Music, this project allows congregations from around the world to submit vocals and be featured on collaborative volumes. The songs are penned by successful writers who have written some of the Christian music industry's most beloved worship favorites. Today we take a look at two songs crafted by this compilation of voices: "Worthy Is Your Name (Exalted)" and "The Risen Lamb Of God." The first song mentioned features Cecily and Reach City Worship and the second one highlights Matthews Ntlele and Bridge Worship.
NEW: "Worthy Is Your Name (Exalted)"
Oh, how majestic You reign Thе Heavens roar, the еarth proclaim
Inspired by Revelation 5:12-13, this song encapsulates the sound of heaven worshipping our King. Something special that Bible verse reveals is the inevitability of praising God. Maybe we don't "feel like" worshipping today but that's not going to stop the rest of the Earth from participating. The very mountains bow to God's glory; the beautiful colors of the flowers are perfectly crafted to bring attention to God's magnificence. Humility is a large part of acknowledging our position as children of God. We owe Him the praise and this song recognizes that truth. The Earth and Heavens already sing of God's worthiness everyday. In gratitude for His love and sacrifice, it is only right that we join in the song.
NEW: "The Risen Lamb Of God"
The One who lit the stars and knows my name The Savior of the world, the Savior of the world
Behold the risen Lamb of God
"The One who lit the stars and knows my name." That line just gets me every time. Who am I that the God who literally created the sky should love me? My insecurity likes to ask that often and every time, He replies with the reminder "You are my child." The beauty of Jesus's love is held in the paradox of His grandeur. He Rolex Replica Watches over all the Heavens and Earth. Yet in the very same second, He is watching us, holding our heart in His hands, and caring for us more deeply than we could even imagine. Colossians 1:15-19 dives deeper into His awesome greatness and is reflected well in this melody.
