Faithful is a project made up of many artists collaborating. Their goal is to show God’s faithfulness throughout Scripture to our current time. Each song on this album features a woman telling a story of the kindness of God. So many different voices each brought their uniqueness and created a beautiful collection of poetry through song. Artists involved on the album are Amy Grant, Ellie Holcomb, Ann Voskamp, Sarah Macintosh, Sandra McCracken, Ginny Owens, Leslie Jordan, Christy Nockels, Rachael Lampa, Kelly Minter, Savannah Locke, Sarah Kroger, Christa Wells, Tamar Chipp, Jess Ray, Janice Gaines, Trilla Newbell, and Taylor Leonhardt. We take a look at two of the moving songs from the album, “Faithful: Go and Speak” below.

NEW: "Impossible Things"

Oh, whatever may come
You will always hold on

When I'm tired in the waiting
Keep me waiting

Crying out this prayer, “keep me waiting”, is scary. It’s not in our human nature to ask for hardships especially when there’s an easier road leading around. But as I especially have learned, the easy way is not always the right way. In fact, the easy way is often not the choice we should make. The process of refining by fire is hard but the beauty that comes out of the ashes cannot be matched. We just need to realize that we are in the fire for a reason. We will grow from it and God may be letting us stay in the situation so we can learn something. Look around for possible lessons to come out of your predicament. Having hope for a future is a much better perspective than sulking and trying to find the easy way out. It’s a difficult prayer but one we all very much need to pray: “When I'm tired in the waiting/Keep me waiting”

NEW: "Rise Up"

Oh, I'm swept up in a story, oh, that I don't want to miss
So, I will rise up for such a time as this

Do you realize we are living history? Not just because of the pandemic, although for that reason too, but because we are God’s children. We are living out a chapter in God’s never ending book. What’s even more amazing is that we can go back and read other’s adventures in previous chapters. We are also in charge of influencing the next generation so they can go out and lead in God’s will. I don’t know about you, but I love exciting books. Ones where every other page holds a surprise, page-turners that keep you intrigued until the very end. We are literally living one of these out and that is incredible beyond words. There is nothing more special than God and as one of His children, our lives are just as important. You now know you have an essential place in history, what are you going to do with it?
