Through a multimedia mix of art, Propaganda, also Prop, is spreading what he believes. His faith in God is what holds him steady every day. Consequently, the artist shares this truth with everyone listening.
Propaganda uses his music, his podcasts, and his talent for poetry to spread the word of the gospel. The Los Angeles-based artist speaks of unity and culture in his music, something that hits home for many people. Recently, the rapper for Christ released a new EP, Terraform: The People. And, he took us through the stories, song by song.
“We Are All We Got”
People often see the world as us versus them. This binary causes such a perversion of the human experience. This song is to set the tone about what we want to dive into for this part of the EP. The truth is we are all we got. In this world, we are literally in this together.
“We Are the Culture”
This song celebrates the fact that culture is not separate from us, but culture is us. We make the culture, and we should always remember that.
“We Were Only Ten “
This song makes a comparison between the experience of violence in the inner-city process of radiation in the middle east. The truth is we are not so different. Oftentimes, young families in our inner cities are caught in the middle of two violent forces: the streets and the police. In the middle east, the two violent forces are the terrorist groups and the American military.
“We All In” (feat. Lecrae)
This is a stadium rock anthem about coming together as one and moving as a unit. One culture, one movement.
“We No Entiende” (feat. Swoope)
Here is an examination of how, due to our siloed perspectives, we don't really listen to each other. If we don't listen to each other, we will never understand each other and move towards peace.
“We Need You” (feat. V. Rose)
This song deals with how hard it was to keep our mental health well during the pandemic. Reminding us that no matter how lonely you feel, Prop is here for you.
“We Let the Credits Roll”
This song is to honor the folks that came before us. A thank you for all my forefathers and mothers have done.
